A non-exhaustive selection of duaa for
seeking forgiveness and repentance in the
last 10 days & nights of Ramadan.

'Aishah (May Allah be pleased with her) narrated :

I said : "O Messenger of Allah, what is your view if I know when

the Night of Al-Qadr is, then what should I say in it?"

He said : Say: “O Allah, indeed You are Pardoning, [Generous,]

You love pardon, so pardon me."

‫ﱢ‬ ُ ْ َ
‫اﻟﻌ ْﻔ َﻮ ﻓﺎﻋﻒ َﻋﻨﻲ‬
َ ‫ﺐ‬ ِ ‫ ُﺗ‬،‫ﻚ َﻋ ُﻔ ﱞﻮ‬
‫ﺤ ﱡ‬ ‫ﱠ‬
َ ‫اﻟﻠ ُﻬ ﱠﻢ ِإ ﱠﻧ‬
Allahumma innaka ‘afuwwun tuhibbul ‘afwa fa‘fu ‘anni

"O Allah, indeed You are Pardoning,

[Generous,] You love pardon, so pardon me."

 Surah Al Qadr

- In the name of Allah,

the Beneficent, َ ‫ﺳ ۡﻮ َر ُة ا‬
‫ﻟﻘﺪر‬ ُ
the Merciful -

Verily, We have sent it

(this Qur'ân) ‫ﻦ ٱﻟﺮﱠ ﺣِ ﻴ ِﻢ‬
ِ ‫ِﺑ ۡﺴ ِﻢ ٱ ّﻟﻠﻪِ ٱﻟﺮ ۡﱠﺣﻤَ ٰـ‬
down in the night of Al-
Qadr (Decree)
(1) And what will make
you know what
(١) ‫ﻧﺰ ۡﻟ َﻨ ٰـ ُﻪ ﻓِ ﻰ َﻟ ۡﻴ َﻠﺔِ ۡٱﻟ َﻘ ۡﺪ ِر‬
the night of Al-Qadr (D
ecree) is? َ ‫إ ﱠﻧﺂ َأ‬
(2) The night of Al-Q
adr (Decree) is ِ
َ ۡ ُ َ
(٢) ‫ٰﻚ ﻣَ ﺎ َﻟ ۡﻴﻠﺔ ٱﻟﻘ ۡﺪ ِر‬
better than a thousand mon
ths (i.e. َ ‫َوﻣَ ﺂ َأ ۡد َر‬
worshipping Allâh in that
(٣) ‫ﺷ ۡہ ٍﺮ‬ َ ‫َ ٌﺮ ﱢﻣ ۡﻦ َأ ۡﻟ ِﻒ‬
‫َﻟ ۡﻴ َﻠ ُﺔ ۡٱﻟ َﻘ ۡﺪ ِر ﺧ ۡﻴ‬

than worshipping Him a

‫ن‬ َ ِ‫ل ۡٱﻟﻤَ َﻠ ٰـٓ َﻜ ُﺔ َوٱﻟﺮﱡو ُح ﻓ‬
ِ ‫ﻴہﺎ ِﺑ ِﺈذ‬

ّ ‫ﺻ ﱠﻠﻰ‬ ّ ‫ﻮل‬ َ ‫ِﺸ َﺔ َﻗ‬
‫اﻷ َواﺧِ ِﺮ ﻣِ ْﻦ‬ ِ ِ َ ْ َ ِ‫اﻟﻠﻪ‬ ُ ‫َﺳ‬ ُ ‫ﺎن ر‬َ ‫ﺖ َﻛ‬ ْ ‫ﺎﻟ‬ َ ‫ﻋَ ْﻦ ﻋَ ﺎﺋ‬

َ َ‫اﻷ َواﺧِ ِﺮ ﻣِ ْﻦ رَﻣ‬ َ ‫ﻮل‬ ُ ‫ﺎن َوﻳ َُﻘ‬ َ َ‫رَﻣ‬

Aisha reported: The Messenger of Allah (‫ )ﷺ‬would seek spiritual retreat in the
mosque during the last ten nights of Ramadan and he would say:

“ Search for the Night of Decree during the last ten nights of Ramadan. ”

wills. May the Salah and Salam be upon our Noble Prophet, the chosen
one Muhammad and on his Family, his Companions and those who
follow them in goodness until the Last Day.

As we are approaching the last 10 days of Ramadan, we find many

people getting confused on how to benefit from it.

I present this small work as a gift so that every single Muslim can
benefit from it during the last 10 days of Ramadan.

I ask Allah al-Karim to make this sincere for His sake and to accept it
from me and you, as well as all of my actions and yours.

Surely, He is the One who answers the supplications.

AlHamdu lillaahi Hamdan katheeran
Tayyiban mubaarakan feehi kamaa Laa ilaaha illallaahul Haleemul kareem,
yuHibbu rabbunaa wa yarDaa. laa ilaaha illallaahul ‘aliyyul 'aDHeem
subHaanallaahi rabbis-samaawaatis
“Praise be to Allah, very many, pure, sab‘i wa rabbil ‘arshil ‘aDHeem,
blessed praises as our Lord loves and
is pleased.” alHamdu lillaahi rabbil ‘aalameen.
“There is no god but Allah, the Forbearing,
[Ibn Hibban - 845]

Exalted, the Magnificent, glorified be Allah,
Lord of the seven heavens and Lord of the
mighty throne, praise be to Allah, Lord of
the worlds.”

SubHaanallaah, walHamdulill
aah, wa laa ilaaha illallaahu,
wallaahu Akbar. Allaahumm

rHamnee Allaahumma rzuqn

Allaahumma Tahhirnee mina dhunoobi wal kha
thawbul
Allaahumma naqqinee minha kamaa yunaqqa

Allaahumma anta rabbee wa ana ‘abduka (amatuka),
DHalamtu nafsee wa‘taraftu bi dhanbee, yaa rabbi
faghfir lee dhanbee innaka anta rabbee innahu laa
yaghfiru dhanba illaa ant.
“O Allah, You are my Lord and I am Your servant (maidservant). I have
oppressed myself and I acknowledge my sin. O Lord so forgive me my
sins, verily You are my Lord, verily no one forgives sins except You.”

Allaahumma innee DHalamtu nafsee
DHulman katheeran wa laa yaghfiru dh-

Allaahumma innee as-aluka yaa All
aahu al-aHadu Samadu ladhee, lam
lam yoolad, wa lam yakul lahu kufuw yalid wa

antal-Ghafoorur raheem.

begotten, and there is none compar etteth not, nor was He
able unto Him, that you may forgive

bbana waatina ma wa‘adtana
tukhzina yawmal qiyamati inn ‘alaa rusulika wala
aka la tukhliful mee‘ad.

call of one (Muhammad SAW) calling
your Lord,’ and we have believed. Our to Faith: ‘Believe in

ۡ َ ۡ َ ۡ ِ‫ﺎﻗ َﺔ ﻟَﻨَﺎ ﺑِﻪِ ۦ ۖ َوٱﻋۡ ُﻒ ﻋَ ﻨﱠﺎ َوٱﻏﻔ‬
َ ‫ﺗُﺤَ ﱢﻤﻠۡﻨَﺎ َﻣﺎ َﻻ َﻃ‬
(٢٨٦) ‫ﻳﻦ‬ َ ِ ‫ﺖ َﻣ ۡﻮﻟَ ٰ ﻨَﺎ َﻓﺎ ْﻧ ُﺼ ۡﺮﻧَﺎ ﻋَ َﲆ ٱﻟۡ َﻘ ۡﻮمِ اﻟۡ َ ٰـﻔِ ﺮ‬ َ ‫أ َ ْﻧ‬
Rabbana la tu-akhidhna in naseena
aw akhta-na, rabbana wala
tahmil ‘alayna isran kama hamaltahu
‘ala ladheena min qablina,
rabbana wala tuhammilna ma la taq
ata lana bihi wa‘fu ‘anna waghfir
lana warhamna, anta mawlana faonsu
rna ‘alal qawmil kafireen
"Our Lord! Punish us not if we
forget or fall into error, our Lor
burden like that which You d! Lay not on us a

‫ َو َﻣﺎ‬،‫ﺖ‬ ُ ‫اﻏﻔِ ْﺮ ﻟِﻲ َﻣﺎ َﻗﺪ ْﱠﻣ‬ ْ ‫ اﻟﻠﱠ ُﻬ ﱠﻢ‬.‫ِﻚ ﻋِ ْﻨ ِﺪي‬ َ ‫ َوﻛﻞﱡ َذﻟ‬،‫َوﻋَ ْﻤ ِﺪي‬
،‫ﺖ أَﻋْ ﻠَ ُﻢ ﺑِﻪِ ﻣِ ﻨﱢﻲ‬ َ ْْ‫ َو َﻣﺎ أَﻧ‬،‫ﺖ‬ ُ ‫ َو َﻣﺎ أَﻋْ ﻠَ ْﻨ‬،‫ت‬ ُ ‫ َو َﻣﺎ أ َ ْﺳ َﺮ ْر‬،‫ت‬ ُ ‫أَﺧﱠ ْﺮ‬

Allaahumma ghfir lee khaTee-atee wa jahlee wa israafee fee amree wa
maa anta a‘lamu bihee minnee. Allaahumma ghfir lee jiddee wa hazlee
wa khaTa-ee wa 'amdee wa kullu thaalika ‘indee. Allaahumma ghfir lee
maa qaddamtu wa maa akhkhartu wa maa asrartu wa maa a‘lantu wa
maa anta a‘lamu bihee minnee. Anta l-muqaddimu wa anta l-mu-
akhkhiru wa anta ‘alaa kulli shay-in qadeer.
‘’ O Allah, forgive me for my sin, my ignorance and my transgression (in keeping
my duty to You), and whatever You know about me better than I do. O Allah,
forgive me for sins committed in earnest and in jest, by mistake and deliberately,
and I have done all of that. O Allah, forgive me for what I have done in the past
and what I will do in the future, what I have done in secret and what I have done
openly, and whatever You know about me better than I do. You are the One Who
raises and lowers people’s status (for You are the One Who brings (some people)
forward and puts (others) back), and You are Able to do all things.”

‫ﺳ ﱢﻴ َﺌ َﻬﺎ‬َ ‫ َﻻ ﻳَ ْﺼﺮ ِ ُف ﻋَ ﻨﱢﻲ‬،‫ﺳ ﱢﻴ َﺌ َﻬﺎ‬ َ ‫اﺻﺮ ِ ْف ﻋَ ﻨﱢﻲ‬ ْ ‫ َو‬،‫ﺖ‬ َ ‫ﺴﻨ َِﻬﺎ ِإ ﱠﻻ أ َ ْﻧ‬ َ ‫ﺣ‬ ْ َ ‫ِﻷ‬
‫ﺲ‬ َ ‫اﻟﺸﺮﱡ ﻟَ ْﻴ‬‫ َو ﱠ‬،‫ﻚ‬ َ ‫اﻟﺨَ ْﻴﺮُ ُﻛﻠﱡ ُﻪ ﻓِﻲ ﻳَ َﺪ ْﻳ‬ ْ ‫ َو‬،‫ﻚ‬ َ ‫ﺳ ْﻌ َﺪ ْﻳ‬ َ ‫ﻚ َو‬ َ ‫ ﻟَ ﱠﺒ ْﻴ‬.‫ﺖ‬ َ ‫ِإ ﱠﻻ أ َ ْﻧ‬
َ ‫ﻮب ِإﻟَ ْﻴ‬ َ َ ‫ أَﺳﺘ َْﻐﻔِ ﺮ‬،‫ﺖ‬
‫ﻚ‬ ُ ُ‫ك َوأﺗ‬ ُ ْ َ ‫ﺖ َوﺗَ َﻌﺎﻟَ ْﻴ‬ َ ‫ ﺗَ َﺒﺎ َر ْﻛ‬،‫ﻚ‬ َ ‫ﻚ َو ِإﻟَ ْﻴ‬ َ ِ ‫ أَﻧَﺎ ﺑ‬،‫ﻚ‬ َ ‫ِإﻟَ ْﻴ‬
Wajjahtu wajhiya lilladhee faTara samawaati wal ardha Hane
efan wamaa
ana minal mushrikeen. Inna Salaatee wanusukee wamaHya
aya
wamamaatee lillaahi rabbil-‘aalameen, laa shareeka lahu wabi
dhaalika
umirtu wa ana minal muslimeen. Allaahumma anta-l-maliku
la ilaaha illaa
ant. Anta rabbee wa-ana ‘abduka (amatuka), DHalamtu nafs
ee wa‘taraftu
bidhanbee faghfir lee dhunoobee jamee‘an, innahu laa yagh
firu dh-dhunooba
illaa ant. Wahdinee li aHsani-l-akhlaaqi laa yahdee li aHsa
nihaa illaa ant,
waSrif ‘annee sayyi-aha laa yaSrifu ‘annee sayyi-aha illaa
ant. Labbayka wa
sa‘dayka, walkhayru kulluhu fee yadayka, wa sh-sharru laysa
ilayka, ana
bika wa-ilayka, tabaarakta wa ta‘alayta, astaghfiruka wa atoo
bu ilayk.
“I have turned my face sincerely towards He who has broug
ht forth the heavens and the
earth and I am not of those who associate (others with Allah)
. Indeed my prayer, my
sacrifice, my life and my death are for Allah, Lord of the world
s, no partner has He, with
this I am commanded and I am of the Muslims. O Allah, You
are the Sovereign, none
has the right to be worshipped except You. You are my Lord
and I am Your servant
(maidservant), I have wronged my own soul and have ackno
wledged my sin, so forgive
me all my sins for no one forgives sins except You. Guide
me to the best of characters
for none can guide to it other than You, and deliver me from
the worst of characters for
none can deliver me from it other than You. Here I am, in
answer to Your call, happy to
serve You. All good is within Your hands and evil does not
stem from You. I exist by Your
will and will return to You Blessed and High are You, I seek
Your forgiveness and repent

Be confident that Allah (‫ )ﷻ‬will reply to your duaa

Allah (‫ )ﷻ‬according to the thing you want from Allah (‫)ﷻ‬.
You want sustenance? Ask Ar-Razzaq (The Great Provider)
You want mercy? Ask Ar-Rahman (The Extremely Merciful)
You want forgiveness? Ask Al Ghafoor (The One Who
Forgives Extensively), Al Ghaffaar (The Oft-Forgiving)
You want protection? Ask Al Haafidh (The Protector)
You want guidance? Ask Al Haadi (The Guide)
