GENERAL ADHKĀR ‫اﻷذ�ﺎر اﻟﻌﺎﻣﺔ‬

Reciting the Qur’ān: The best dhikr ‫ﻗﺮاءة اﻟﻘﺮآن‬

ُ َ ُ َ َ ْ َ َ ُ َ ْ َ ُ َّ َ ٰ َ
The best statement uttered by all ‫ ﻪﻟ‬، ‫ﺮﺷ�ﻚ ﻪﻟ‬ ِ ‫ﻻ إِﻪﻟ إِﻻ اﷲ وﺣﺪه ﻻ‬
the Prophets. (Muwatta’)
ٌ.‫ﻲﺷ ٍء ﻗَ ِﺪﻳْﺮ‬ْ َ ‫ﻞﻛ‬ّ ُ َ َ َ ُ َ ُ ْ َْ ُ َ َ ُ ْ ُ ْ
ِ ‫ﻰﻠﻋ‬ ٰ ‫ وﻫﻮ‬، ‫ا�ﻤﻠﻚ وﻪﻟ اﺤﻟﻤﺪ‬
ُ ْ ْ َ َ ْ ُ
The best words after the Qur’ān. ِ ِ ‫ َواﺤﻟَﻤﺪ‬، ‫ﷲ‬
‫ﷲ‬ ِ ‫ﺳﺒﺤﺎن ا‬
(Ahmad)

ُ �‫ َواﷲ أ‬، ‫َو َﻻ إ ٰ َﻪﻟ إﻻ اﷲ‬
ْ ُ ُ َّ
They wipe away sins. (Tirmidhī) .‫ﺮﺒ‬ ِ ِ
ْ َ َ ْ ُ
Light on the tongue, heavy on the ، ِ‫ﷲ َو ِﺤﺑَﻤ ِﺪه‬ ِ ‫ﺳﺒﺤﺎن ا‬
scale, beloved to the All-Merciful. ْ
ْ َ َ ْ ُ

.‫ﷲ اﻟ َﻌ ِﻈﻴﻢ‬ ِ ‫ﺳﺒﺤﺎن ا‬
َّ َ َّ ُ َ َ ْ َ َ
ِ ‫ﻻ ﺣﻮل َوﻻ ﻗﻮة إِﻻ ﺑِﺎ‬
A treasure from the treasures of
Paradise. (Bukhārī)
.‫ﷲ‬
ْ ْ َ َ َْ َ َ
‘Supplicate frequently with...’
(Tirmidhī) . ِ‫اﻹﻛ َﺮام‬
ِ ‫ﻳﺎ ذا اﺠﻟﻼ ِل و‬
ُ ْ ْ َ َ َ ْ َ ُ ْ ُّ َ َ ُّ َ َ
.‫ﻤﺣ ِﺘﻚ أﺳﺘَ ِﻐﻴﺚ‬
When distressed, the Prophet 
would say... (Tirmidhī) ‫ ﺑِﺮ‬، ‫ﻳﺎ ﻲﺣ ﻳﺎ �ﻴﻮم‬
ّٰ َ
َُ
...‫آل ﺤﻣ َّﻤ ٍﺪ‬ ٰ َ َ ‫ا�ﻠ ُﻬ َّﻢ َﺻ ّ ِﻞ‬
ٰ َ َ ‫ﻰﻠﻋ ُﺤﻣَ َّﻤ ٍﺪ َو‬
10 blessings from Allah, 10 sins
erased & 10 stages raised. (Nasā’ī) ِ ‫ﻰﻠﻋ‬
َ ٰ ۡ ُ َ ْ َ َّ َ ٰ َ
For difficult times. (Nasā’ī) ‫ح َنك‬ ‫� إِ� إِ� �نت سب‬
Allah answers your prayers when
َ.�ِْ ‫الظلِم‬ّٰ َ ُ ْ ُ ْ ّ
you supplicate with it. (Tirmidhī) ‫إ ِ ِ� كنت مِن‬
ٰ َ ْ َّ َ ْ َ ْ َ ُ ْ َ ْ َ
All of your sins will be forgiven.
‫ِي ﻻ ِإ َﻪﻟ‬ ‫أﺳﺘﻐ ِﻔﺮ اﷲ اﻟﻌ ِﻈﻴﻢ اﺬﻟ‬
َ َُ َ ْ ُّ َ ْ َ ُ َّ
(Tirmidhī)
.‫ َوأﺗ ْﻮ ُب إِﻴﻟْ ِﻪ‬، ‫ﻲﺤ اﻟﻘ ُّﻴ ْﻮ ُم‬ ‫إِﻻ ﻫﻮ اﻟ‬
