 INTRODUCTION
The Al FURQAN is one of the particular names Of Holy Quran,
which means “Criterion” i.e. between Truth and False

 In these verses (Ayat) Almighty Allah has mentioned 13 qualities
of His pious & beloved servants 6
 ِ ‫أ‬ ‫م‬
ً‫ون عَل ال مرض َه مون‬َ ‫ش‬ ‫م‬ ‫ي‬ ‫ين‬ ِ َّ
‫اَّل‬
َ ‫َو َ َّ ِ َ َ م‬ ‫ن‬ َ
‫ْح‬ ‫م‬ ‫الر‬ ‫اد‬ ‫ب‬‫ع‬ِ
َ ِ ‫م‬
‫َوا َذا َخا َط َبھم ال َجاهلو َن قالوا َسَل ًما‬
َ
Translation: And the (faithful) slaves of the Most Gracious ِ
(Allah) are those who walk on the earth in humility and
soberness, and when the ignorant address them (with bad
words) they reply back with mild words of gentleness. (Verse
# 63) 7
1. They are true slave (‫ )عبد‬of Almighty Allah
‫َو ِع َباد َّالر م َْح ِن‬
Translation: And the (faithful) slaves of the Most Gracious
(Allah)
‫عبد‬ ‫ عباد‬
Slave or servant
They live according to orders of their Master(Lord) 8
2. They walk on earth modestly
ِ ‫أ‬ ‫م‬ َ
ً‫ون عَل ال مرض َه مون‬ ‫م‬ ‫ي‬ ِ َّ
َ ‫اَّل َين َ م ش‬
Translation: those who walk on the earth in humility and soberness.
They are not coward but due to fear of Allah they walk on earth humbly.
Hazrat Umar (‫ )ریض ہللا عنہ‬asked a young man, are you ill? so walk gently.
Do not walk on the earth in proud style. You can neither tear the earth apart, nor can
you match the mountains in height. (Bani Israil-37)
And do not walk on the earth proudly, surely, Allah does not like anyone who is
arrogant, proud. (Luqman-18)
Cause of all types of disputes is arrogant proudly style. 9
3. They do not waste their time in useless discussions
َ ِ ‫م‬
‫َوا َذا َخا َط َبھم ال َجاهلو َن قالوا َسَل ًما‬
َ
Translation: and when the ignorant address them ِ (with bad
words) they reply back with mild words of gentleness.
Ignorant, means posses ignorant behavior.
Salam means, peaceful behavior

4.They spend their nights in Humble Prayers
ِ ِ ِ ‫ي‬ ِ َّ
َ ‫َواَّل َين َبيت‬
‫ون ل َرِبھِ مم َُّدً ا َوق ََا ًما‬
Translation: And those who spend the night in worship of their
Lord, prostrate and standing. (Verse # 64)
These people are not careless at night
Establish night prayers
Cause to be closer to Allah + free from show off
Difficult to offer ?
Way of Muslims in Past ?
Prophet used offered it regularly. (8 Rakaat) 11
4.They spend their nights in Humble Prayers
According Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbass, One who offered 2
Rakaat after Isha prayer congregationally; will get reward.
Narrated by Hazrat Usman, one who offered Isha with Jammat,
his half night in worship, if Fajar too, Complete night in worship
Concept of sleeping & then awaking ? Yes / not
Best time ?
Their sides remain apart from their beds, they call their Lord with
fear and hope ( Surah Al-Sajdah-16) 12
‫‪5.They are fearers from torment of the Hell‬‬
‫َو َّ ِاَّل ۡي َن يَق ۡول ۡو َن َربَّنَا ِۡ‬
‫اۡص ۡف َعنَّا عَ َذ َاب َجَ َّ َّن ٭ ِا َّن عَ َذاب َھَا ََک َن غَ َرا ًما‬
‫﴿‪ِ ﴾65‬ان َّھَا َسا ٓ َء ۡت م ۡس َت َق ًّرا َّو م َقا ًما ﴿‪﴾66‬‬
‫”‪Translation: And those who say: “Our Lord! Avert from us the torment of Hell.‬‬
‫‪Verily, its torment is ever inseparable, permanent punishment.‬‬
‫‪Evil indeed it (Hell) is as an abode and as a place to rest in.‬‬
‫اورجو يہ کےتہ ہںی کہ‪":‬ہامرے پروردگار! جہّن ےک عذاب کو ہم ےس دور رکھئے۔” حقَقت يہ ےہ کہ اس َک‬
‫عذاب وہ تباہی ےہ جو مچٹ کر رہ جایت ےہ۔ يقَنا وہ کیس َک مس تقر اور قَام گاہ بننے ےک لئے بدترين جگہ‬
‫ےہ۔ "‬ ‫‪13‬‬
6.They are moderate in spending
﴾﴿‫سوُف ۡوا َو لَ ۡم ي َ ۡقُت ۡوا َو ََک َن ب َ ۡ َی ٰذ ِل َک قَ َوا ًما‬ ‫ی‬ ‫م‬َ
ِ ۡ ۡ ۡ ‫ل‬ ‫ا‬‫و‬ ‫ق‬ َ
‫ف‬ ۡ ‫ن‬ َ
‫ا‬ ‫ا‬ َ
‫ذ‬ ِ
‫ا‬ ‫ن‬ ِ
َ ۡ ‫َو‬
‫ي‬ َّ
‫اَّل‬
Translation: And those who, when they spend, are neither
extravagant nor miserly, but hold a medium (way ) between those
(extremes). (Verse # 67)
Verily the spendthrifts are brothers of the devils.
Ahadith, spending moderately is half of the economy.
The person will not face any problem, who spend moderately.

7. They do not associate anyone with Allah
and submit needs to Allah.
ٰ ٰ ِ ِ ٰ َ ِ َّ
‫َو اَّل ۡي َن ل ي َ ۡدع ۡو َن َم َع الل الـھًا ا َخ َر‬
Translation: And those who invoke not any other ilah
(god) along with Allah.
They do not fall into major sins.
They do not do shirk. And they rely on Allah only. 15
8.They abstain from Homicide
‫َو َلي َ ۡقتل ۡو َن النَّ ۡف َس ال َّ ِ ۡت َح َّر َم ٰالل ِا َّل ِِبلۡ َح ِق‬
Translation:Nor kill such person as Allah has forbidden, except for
just cause
Killing any body is a major crime.
One of the signs of the day of Judgment.
Killing Human is Haram
Killing Muslim deliberately is a major crime
Killing Ulama-e-Kiram
We condemn killing innocent people in different parts of the world. 16
9.They refrain from illegal sexual relationship
﴾﴿ ‫َو َل يَ ۡ نز ۡو َن ۚ َو َم ۡن ي َّ ۡف َع ۡل ٰذ ِل َک يَلۡ َق َا ََث ًما‬
Translation: Nor commit illegal sexual intercourse, and whoever does this shall
receive the punishment. (Verse# 68)
Major crime.
No culture, no tradition & no Religion permit this.
Harmful for family life and Humanity
Difference b/w human & Animal
More illegal sexual relations ==> more murders
Islam has given its punishment ==> in Surah Noor 100 stripes and stones.
Think about you and your beloved before doing any crime. 17
 ﴾﴿ ً‫ي ُّ ٰض َع ۡف لَہ الۡ َع َذاب ي َ ۡو َم الۡ ِق َٰ َم ِِ َو َ َۡی ۡل ِوُف َۡہٖ مھَان‬
Translation: The torment will be doubled to him on the Day of Resurrection, and
he will abide therein in disgrace. (Verse 69)
ٓ
ِ‫ِا َّل َم ۡن َتَ َب َو ٰا َم َن َو َ َِع َل َ ََع ًَل َصا ِل ًحا وُفَاو ٰل ِئ َک ي َبدل‬
﴾﴿ ‫ٰالل َس ِی ٰا ِتھِ ۡم َح َسنٰت َو ََک َن ٰالل غَف ۡو ًرا َّر ِح َۡ ًما‬
Translation: Except those who repent and believe (in Islamic Monotheism), and do
righteous deeds; for those, Allah will change their sins into good deeds, and Allah
is Ever Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (Verse # 70) 18
We are human, we fall into sins and crimes.
Doors of Allah always open for Repentance (Tuaba).
Signs of “True Repentance”.
Reward by Allah, conversion of sins into good deeds.
Again & again.
This repentance is for non-believers .
ِ ٰ ‫َو َم ۡن َتَ َب َو َ َِع َل َصا ِل ًحا وُفَ ِان َّہٗ يَت ۡوب ِا َل‬
﴾﴿‫الل َمتَ ًاِب‬
Translation: And whosoever repents and does righteous good deeds;
then verily, he repents towards Allah with true repentance. (Verse # 71)

10.They do not give false witness
َ ِ َّ
ۙ ‫َواَّل ۡي َن ل ی َ ۡشھَد ۡو َن ُّالز ۡو َر‬
Translation: And those who do not bear witness to
falsehood
Giving false witness is One of the major Crime.
It is core cause of Justice.
It is core cause of peace. 20
11. They refrain from absurd parties
﴾﴿‫َو ِا َذا َم ُّر ۡوا ِِبلل َّ ۡغ ِو َم ُّر ۡوا کِ َرا ًما‬
Translation: And if they pass by some evil play or evil talk,
they pass by it with dignity. (Verse # 72)
Parties in which disobedience to Allah & His Messenger.
People eat & drink Haram.
Music & Dance.
At least at least we can save our own self and dependents. 21
12.They give attention to the reminder of Allah
ًّ ‫َو َّ ِاَّل ۡي َن ِا َذا ذکِر ۡوا ِ ِٰبيٰ ِت َرِبھِ ۡم لَ ۡم َ َِی ُّر ۡوا عَلَ ۡیھَا‬
﴾73﴿ ً‫ُصا َّو َۡع َیان‬
Translation: And those who, when they are reminded by the
Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelation, etc.)
of their Lord, fall not deaf and blind thereat
‫ اور جب انہںی اےنپ رب یک آایت ےک ذریعے نصیحت یک جایت ےہتو وہ ان‬:‫ترمجہ‬
‫پر بہرے اور اندےھ بن کر نہںی گرےت۔‬

‫‪13.They‬‬ ‫‪are‬‬ ‫‪sincere‬‬ ‫‪to‬‬ ‫‪all‬‬
‫َو َّ ِاَّل ۡي َن يَق ۡول ۡو َن َربَّنَا َھ ۡب لنَا م ۡن َا ۡز َو ِاجنَا َو ذ ِر ٰيتنَا ق َّر َۃ َا ۡعی َّو ا ۡج َعلنَا‬
‫ۡ‬ ‫ِ‬ ‫َ ِ‬
‫ِللۡمتَّ ِق ۡ َی ِا َما ًما ﴿﴾‬
‫‪Translation: And those who say “Our Lord! Bestow on us from our‬‬
‫‪wives and our offspring the comfort of our eyes, and make us leaders‬‬
‫‪of the Muttaqun (the Pious).‬‬
‫ترمجہ‪ :‬اور جو (دعا کرےت ہو ئے) کےتہ ہںی کہ‪ :‬ہامرے پروردگار! ہمںی اپین بیوی چبوں‬
‫ےس آنکھوں یک ٹھنڈک عطا وُفرما‪ ،‬اور ہمںی پرہزیگاروں َک رسبراہ بنادے‬ ‫‪23‬‬
 ٓ
﴾﴿‫او ٰل ِئ َک ُۡی َز ۡو َن الۡغ ۡروُفَ َِ ِب َما َص ََب ۡوا َويلَقَّ ۡو َن ِوُف َۡھَا َ َِت َّی ًِ َّو َس ٰل ًما‬
Translation: Those will be rewarded with the highest place (in
Paradise) because of their patience. Therein they shall be met
with greeting and the word of peace and respect. (Verse # 75)
﴾﴿‫ٰخ ِ ِل ۡي َن ِوُف َۡھَا َحسن َ ۡت م ۡس َت َق ًّرا َّوم َقا ًما‬
Translation: Abiding therein, excellent it is as an abode, and as
a place to rest in. (Verse # 76)

1. They are true slave (ABD) of Almighty Allah.
2. They walk on earth modestly.
3. They do not waste their time in useless discussions.
4. They spend their nights in Humble Prayers.
5. They are fearers from the torment of the Hell.
6. They are moderate in spending.

7.They do not do Shirk and submit needs to Allah.
8.They abstain from Homicide.
