SUB: MAHARASHTRA STATE SUB JUNIOR ATHLETICS CHAMPIONSHIPS-2023

Dear Colleagues,

I am pleased to inform you that Maharashtra State Sub junior (Under 8, 10 and 12 years) Championships-
2023 will be held at District Sports Complex, Sangli Miraj Road, Sangli from 9th to 11th February, 2024 and will
be organised by Sangli District Athletics Association.

GROUPS & AGE QUALIFICATION:

The following groups will be participating in the Championships:-

Boys & Girls under 8 years (Birth date between 11.02.2016 to 10.02.2018)
Boys & Girls under 10 years (Birth date between 11.02.2014 to 10.02.2016)
Boys & Girls under 12 years (Birth date between 11.02.2012 to 10.02.2014)

PROOF OF AGE:
The athletes are required to bring with them the following Original Certificates for verification.
Birth Certificate from Municipality / Corporation / Gram Panchayat.

EVENTS TO BE CONDUCTED:
The lists of events to be conducted are listed in Annexure I. You are requested to kindly note the change in
Events to be conducted this year.

LAST DATE OF ENTRY:

The last date of receipt is 5th February, 2024. In no case, entries received after the due date will be

NO. OF ENTRIES:
Each District Unit can enter three athletes in each individual event.

NO. OF EVENT AN ATHLETE CAN PARTICIPATE:

An Athlete can participate in maximum two individual events.

Rs 200/- per event to be paid along with the entry.

ACCOMMODATION:
Unfurnished Accommodation facility may be provided only for the participants by the ORGANISERS.
Parents have to make their own arrangement for stay.
