(*)1 For checking automatic steering, watch ship's heading at ADPT-OPN steering mode after changing its
course by ADPT auto steering.
When the ship doesn't approach or keep the set course smoothly (when 1 or 2 degrees course deviation
from the set course is kept for 20 minutes or more), set Dip switch(S1-2) to "ON" at chance of the ADNCT2
re-adjustment.
The integral rudder control gain is doubled when S1-2 set to "ON".

(*)2 Countermeasure when yawing is generated.


Measure the yawing period when the yawing is generated by any chance. Set the limit index again as the
measured period is corresponding to the period in the note column of above table.
Example:
Change the setting to A1 in the ship as being set to A-2 when the yawing period is 180 sec(longer than 160
sec), or change the setting to A-3 when the yawing period is 60sec(shorter than 100 sec).
Change the setting to B-1 in the ship as being set to B-2 when the yawing period is 240 sec
(longer than 200 sec).
