Software Update for Aviator 200 300 350 700

• You must be connected to the SBU via Ethernet cable. You can’t do the update
through a wireless connection; it's not allowed.

• CAUTION: Some browsers will cause an error and not allow login as Administrator.
This will cause the GUI to seem to be logged in as admin but sections will be greyed
out. Try another browser of this occurs.

• For a compatible browser: run FireFox version 67 or older (Portable) run from a flash
drive. Firefox exists in a “portable” version that can run from e.g. a USB stick, without
being “installed” on the PC.

The official Firefox website has some of these “portables” for download, but not old enough versions. Usable
versions are, however, available from other sources on the net:

You need to run it from the flash drive or as soon as Firefox sees the internet it will try and update it.

You should only use the FireFox recommended for configuring the SBU since it is not as secure as modern
browsers.

• Check your current software level. If it's not 1.09, then it's outdated. See page 4
(bottom) of document 'IMSI and APN check change…….'

NOTE: Consider updating to the “paid” software update version 3.01 of later as this addressed some of the
connection problems. The cost of this is $1,677 as of 1/30/24. Check with Air Sat One for current prices.

• If you need to do the update: The file you need is swift_broadband-e_109.dl.

Download it.
