Programme Overview
The Master of Business Administration (MBA) for Working Executives is
designed to develop key management skills while continuing to work. The

specialisation courses in year two.

Programme Delivery
Sessions will be conducted via a state-of-the-art Interactive Learning (IL) platform and
delivered in Direct-to-Device (D2D) mode that can be accessed by learners on their
Desktop, Laptop, Tablet, or Smartphone.
A participant’s platform is provided for access to course presentations, projects, case
studies, assignments, and other reference materials as applicable for specified courses.
Participants can raise questions and doubts either in real-time during the live class or
offline through the Cloud Campus.

Admission Criteria
Participants will be eligible to apply
for the programme based on their
overall profile and credentials.
Attendance Criteria
A minimum of 75% attendance is a
prerequisite for the successful
completion of the programme.
Eligibility Criteria
• Graduation from any discipline with minimum 50% or equivalent CGPA
and 10+2+3 and 3 years full time relevant working experience or 10+2+4
and 2 years full time relevant working experience.
• Experience only after graduation to be considered, it has to be a full
time* and paid position
*Part-time/Project/Internship/Articleship/Apprenticeship/Pre-graduation work
experience, etc., which forms an integral part of a course study, should not be entered,
and will not be counted as work experience.
Assessment & Evaluation
The end-term examination would bear 50% weightage in the final
assessment. The remaining 50% would be through internal assessments,
which would be a mix of evaluation elements such as quizzes, live project,
assignments, and class participation as decided by the course faculty.

Programme Directors
Dr. Shiji Lyndon is a faculty in OB & HRM area at K J Somaiya
Institute of Management (KJSIM), Mumbai. She has a Ph.D. in
leadership from SJMSOM, IIT Bombay. She is certified in
Mixed Methods Research from St. Gallen University,
Switzerland. She is a gold medallist and rank holder in
graduation and post-graduation from the M S University of
Baroda.
She is a Professionally Certified Coach (PCC) from
International Coaching Federation (ICF). She has facilitated
more than 500 hours of client coaching for employees from
Dr. Shiji Lyndon various organisations such as Schindler India Pvt. Ltd., IBM,
Axis Bank, SAS, etc. She is a certified HOGAN
assessment practitioner and also certified in Talent
Assessment by AON Hewitt. She has conducted various
training programmes for prestigious organisations such as
INS HAMLA (India Navy), Godrej & Boyce, Life Insurance
Corporation (LIC), New India Assurance Co. Ltd., Power Grid,
and Department of Atomic Energy, to name a few.
Her work has been published widely in various
peer-reviewed national and international journals. She has
presented research papers at various national and
international conferences in Italy, UK, Greece, IIM Bangalore,
IIM Lucknow, IIM Trichy, IIT Roorkee, and IISc Bangalore. She
has been awarded Best Paper awards by the Indian
Academy of Management, the Institute of Rural
Management Anand, and the NHRDN network.
She is an Associate Editor of the Journal Business
Perspectives and Research (published by SAGE) and is a
reviewer for several leading journals. She is also a trainer
for faculty and has conducted FDP sessions for
AICTE-sponsored ATAL FDP and for various B-schools
associated with IIT Bombay, Christ University, Mumbai
University, Kannur University, etc.
Shiji is the Chairperson of the Centre for Diversity
Management and Inclusion (CDMI) at KJSIM. Her work in the
DEI space was awarded by the Industry Academia
Conference 2023.
