Tik Tok et al
Tik tok et al gives people of all ages the satisfaction to have fun and be creative. According to Southern
(2021) in one of their study finds, the majority of these people said that Tik Tok is already a place for
them where they can express themselves openly. It is a community where people share and relate to
one another. The platform doesn’t only entertain watchers from unique talents of every individual but it
also offers videos that would help other people such as educational videos and advicing videos.
Everyday, everyone is always amazed and surprised with everything they saw, discovered and learned
Tiktok et al is so popular because of its many features. Aside from not requiring a lot of skills to make
videos, people are having fun creating content with the help of an ever-evolving suite of content creation
tools such as filters, texts, sounds and music effects. Users appear to not never run out of ideas due to
unending experiments with their videos, thus more watchers are appealed to watch their clips and this
gains gratification. Hence, the behavior of these people will relate to B.F. Skinner’s operant conditioning
refers specifically to his positive reinforcement concept where rewards are a form of good feedback, likes
and attention. Moreover, I guess one of the best characteristics of this app is that it requires users to edit
videos in a short time that would push them to be clear and concise. It is a smart measure to capitalize
on the fact that people are more inclined to watch 10-second videos than 10-minutes videos for the

free to do any of the trending challenges and even add some twist. In addition to all of that, Tik tok
offers the potential for fame. Despite the fact that I don’t use Tik tok, I heard about a few ordinary
individuals who rose to be exclusively famous including Bella Poarch, Addison Rae and Charli D’Amelio.
These people have already published a movie, original music and a TV series due to their outstanding
Although Tik tok is already a community, I don’t like to follow the cultural phenomenon. It may just really
be that it’s not my cup of tea. Though, I enjoy editing videos but I'm not interested in using this platform
to sing, dance, do challenges, give video advice and all that good stuff that the platform could offer to
me. However, maybe I could consider this one someday but just not now. I know my limits, I believe I am
a sensitive person who easily overthinks and gets hurt by just a little criticism. Thus, as much as possible I
keep myself away from it and keep things private for I am aware that I am not mentally ready to enter
this kind of world. And to weigh things right, Tik tok offers more great advantages than less ones.
However, I’m fully aware of what's behind the other side of this app like bad criticism and all.
Nevertheless, I think one should be responsible enough when using Tik tok even though the very basis of
this development is done supposedly for good. Still, everything is evolving therefore we should as well
adapt and be mindful of its effects in order for us to keep going through. All in all, it is such a good and
