Merit cum Means Scholarships

The University offers a number of scholarships for postg raduate and Ph.D students. Most of these scholarships are merit based. However, support is also available
to students belong ing to economically weaker sections of the society throug h the Students Aid Fund. The office of the Dean, Students’ Welfare also processes
various scholarships instituted by state g overnments for students belong ing to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes as well as those instituted by Private Trusts

Free Admission For Meritorious Poor Students & Toppers

ERD Foundation has taken an initiative to support and provide free education to the exceptionally meritorious students from families belong ing to BELOW POVERTY
LINE, as they cannot afford the financial liability of such courses.
The manag ement of ERDF has been g iving free admission for meritorious students of BPL families in all the institutes run by ERDF. Similarly, decision has been taken
to admit meritorious BPL students specially from rural areas as per criteria prescribed by both ERDF and USTM. BPL students already passed out from different
institutes have been eng ag ed in various reputed org anizations making the efforts of ERDF fruitful.
