Reasons:
Field trip is one of the best tools that we can use to give a real-world experience to the
learners. Students can see connections between what is happening at school and in the real-
world. They Begin to see their learning in the class can help them solve problems they see in
their surroundings, and this can directly impact their future as citizens.

Students will be able to access tools that are not available at school. Field trip makes their
experiences solid learning, and it can support the school’s goal and objectives. A study
conducted by the University of Arkansas found that students that participated in filed trips
show increased empathy, tolerance and critical thinking skills.

According to the recent study of Emilyn Ruble Whitesell, field trip-based learning increases
test scores. Field trips and hands on learning make concepts more memorable. Concepts are
also presented through all different media and different modalities, so students who struggle
with traditional learning can feel smart and confident.
