Youtube Hook Prompt Priming

Enter This PROMPT:

I'm a world class marketing consultant who specializes in writing winning

youtube ads.

The most important part of the Youtube ad is the "Hook." That refers to the
opening of the video ad. Specifically the first 6 seconds. Because that's the
time where the audience decides whether to watch the ad or skip the ad.
So the first 6 seconds need to be especially compelling. It needs to create
massive curiosity and desire, so members of our target market want to
watch the ad.

Here are some examples of WINNING hooks (that were tested and proven
with REAL ads) as well as the "type" of Hook they fall into:

Type 1: Personal Claim/Story

Example 1: Selling a book about making money on Amazon

Hey big news! You're about to discover how I sold 131,404 units of a
product on Amazon that cost me just a dollar to buy and sold for $20.

Example 2: Selling a real estate investing course about profiting off of tax
yields

Here's how I got the government to pay me $888.56 for this little-known tax
yield payout

Example 3: Teasing a webinar about making money on Amazon

Are you curious about how I earned $2,317.16 this month without lifting a
finger? I didn't spend a single penny or a second of my time to earn this
money, and I know that I'll receive a similar-sized check 30 days from now,
and every month after that for years to come.

Example 4: Selling a program for coaches who want to land high ticket
clients

Hey do you want to know how we built a 50 million dollar coaching

company with just one 45-minute presentation?

Type 2: Mechanism + Benefit

Example 1: Selling the book on making money on Amazon

The crazy loophole where you just do four hours of work and it generates
the new income stream that keeps paying you forever more. How good
does that sound?

Example 2: Selling that same Amazon book

What if you could generate a new income stream just by simply loading up
some mini eBooks online onto Amazon and selling them from home? I live
here in New Zealand and get to enjoy lots of time outdoors thanks to my
little eBooks business. For four hours' work, I can generate a new eBook
and create a new income stream that keeps on rolling month after month,
and I've built this little idea rep to earn me now thousands of dollars profit
every month.

Type 3: Strong Claim + Guarantee

Example 1: Letting aspiring Amazon entrepreneurs know about a fully

automated Amazon store

Fully automated Amazon store, the difference is we guarantee your profits.

Type 4: Contrarian Advice

Example 1: Promoting a dating course for men who want higher success
with women

Stop being so nice to women. Nice will never equal turned on or attracted
to you. I know you want women to be wildly attracted to you, to approach
you first, to win at the dating game, and beat out all the other jerks around.
But it's not going to happen if you keep being so darn nice.

Example 2: Promoting a self-defense course to conservative men

If you get attacked and you want to walk away with your life, do not use
traditional martial arts that could get you killed. Instead, you should use the
self-defense method taught to the navy seals which I'm going to show you
in the next two minutes.

Type 5: Associative State (Playing off of their current thoughts)

Example 1: A dating course for men

Look at this girl, no really, look at her. She's gorgeous, right? I'm sure you
see girls like this all the time, at the grocery store, coffee shop, or online.
Beautiful girls that just blow your mind. And the thoughts of how to
approach her and what to say give you this feeling in the pit of your
stomach like your whole world's about to end.

Type 6: Making a binding statement

Example 1: A dating course for men (the ad comes from a woman)

If you want to be successful with women, then you need to know how to flirt
with them. All women love to flirt, but we only want to flirt with guys who
know how to flirt back with us. Unfortunately, most guys suck at flirting in
the way that women want to flirt.
Type 7: A shocking fact

Example 1: Selling a self-defense book based on Navy Seals secrets

97,824 Americans were mugged last year, according to the FBI crime
statistics. Violent armed robberies are more common than ever, and every
year it's getting worse. Could you and your family be the next victims? In
today's episode, I'll show you how to survive a mugging and a self-defense
technique used by the Navy Seals.

Type 8: Physical Demonstration

Example 1: Selling a course about making money through the Amazon

FBA program

*Ad begins by holding up a coffee mug* This product right here is making
me over $10,000 every month. And the good news is, there's an easier way
to make money than working at a nine-to-five job that you hate. You can
sell products like this using Amazon FBA. If you're not familiar with Amazon
FBA, it stands for Fulfillment By Amazon. Amazon ships all the products to
their customers, so you can get paid. All you have to do is list your product
on Amazon's website. With millions of shoppers every day, customers buy
your product, Amazon ships it, and you get paid.

Example 2: Teasing a video sales letter about defeating diabetes naturally

This is how much cinnamon it takes to drop blood sugar. Studies show that
when it's taken every single day, cinnamon can drop blood sugar levels by
24%. That's pretty good huh, but here's the problem. Who honestly wants
to eat this much cinnamon every single day?

Type 9: Using a Quote From A Credible Authority

Example 1: Selling a course on making more money as a salesperson

If you're a B2B salesperson making less than $200k a year, then I want to
share with you a quote by Warren Buffett that changed everything for me
as a salesperson. It actually took me from being in a dead-end sales job
making $50k a year and ultimately not being fulfilled selling what I was
selling to making more than a neurosurgeon in 12 months' time. And the
quote is, "It's not how hard that you row; it's far more important what boat
that you're in."

Type 10: Secret Advantage Of A Specific Privileged Group

Example 1: Selling a course on making money on Amazon

Amazon sellers have a secret to making money, and if you're smart, you
can steal their sales. Let me show you how. This is Alibaba.com, where
Amazon sellers buy their products for low prices to sell high on Amazon.
For example, this kids' playtime toy can be bought for around $10 per piece
on Amazon, but this seller is selling it for almost $40.

Type 11: A quiz (with often surprising results)

Example 1: Teasing a video sales letter about defeating diabetes

What drops blood sugar faster? Prescriptions such as metformin or eating

healthier? Well, here's what most medical experts should be explaining:

Type 12: Timely (Leveraging current events)

Example 1: Promoting a FOREX trading course

The world is in an economic recession and market volatility is high, creating

a huge opportunity in the market. During this period, many people are
learning to trade the stock market, but did you know that the forex market
has a daily volume of $5.1 trillion, 60 times bigger than the stock market's
$84 billion daily volume?
Example 2: Promoting a secretive investing course

A very strange day is coming to America. In short, a massive and surprising

new transition could soon determine the next group of millionaires while
leaving 99% of the public even worse off than before. Go ahead and ignore
me, skip this ad, but I can promise you what's coming next to America
could change everything you know about making money.

Type 13: Testable Proof

Example 1: Selling a stock trading course (NOTE: this ad involves showing

actual stock charts)

Look at this Apple stock chart and if a trader places a stop loss here no
wonder he is losing money because look at what happened: the price
plummeted past the previous low triggering the stop loss, only to skyrocket
right after earnings were released. Here's another chart: the line that you
see is the 200-day moving average, a popular indicator that retail traders
use and where most would set their exit levels at. But look at what
happened again: price came down across the 200-day moving average
only to quickly reverse after that. Coincidence? Maybe not, because what if
I told you the reason behind all these misleading price movements are due
to market manipulation?

Type 14: Common Mistake That Causes Undesirable Outcome

Example 1: A relationship course for women about landing and keeping the
man of their dreams

There is one forward question you must absolutely never ask a man if you
want him to be your boyfriend or your husband or anything beyond just a
hookup who you never hear from again. Do you know what the question is?
As a woman, it'll probably sound completely innocent to you, but as a guy, I
can tell you that when we hear this question, it takes all of the wind out of
our romantic sails no matter how we feel about a woman before she asks it.
And if you've ever had a guy pull away from you when you wanted nothing
more in the world but to have him pull you closer, it's probably because you
asked this question, well even knowing it.

Example 2: This is another ad promoting the same female relationship

course as the previous example.

There's one simple sex mistake you must never make when being intimate
with a man if you want him to see you as girlfriend material instead of just
another notch on his bedpost. Do you know what this simple mistake is? As
a woman, it'll probably seem completely innocent to you. But as a guy, I
can tell you that when a woman does this in bed, it takes all the wind out of
our romantic sails - no matter how we felt about a woman before she did it.

Type 15: Self-Test

Example 1: Promoting a course about naturally defeating diabetes

If you are type 2 and take metformin, well check your feet and legs for
these two things that I'm going to show you in this video right now. Now do
you see any painful cracks or small wounds that take forever or never
seem to heal?

Type 16: The Relevant Question

Example 1: Selling a course teaching coaches how to generate high ticket

clients

Do you know where your next client is coming from? If you're like most
coaches out there, you've been told that to attract new clients, you have to
be crazy active on social media, create a ton of content, spend a fortune on
a website, and so on. But what if I told you that I've built a 50 million dollar
coaching company without any of that stuff?

Type 17: Creating burning Curiosity

Example 1: Selling a relationship course to women who want to marry their
dream man

There are three words a man will say to a woman he believes is "the one"
that he will never say under any other circumstances, no matter how long
he lives. If you hear a man say these three words to you, it means he
adores you, worships you, will fight for you, wants you to be his, and only
his forever. These three words are not "I love you," as most men don't
really know what the word "love" means in the same way you do, and even
a good man will say it to a woman he just likes because he knows it's what
she wants to hear. But if a man truly, absolutely loves you, at some point,
he will stop whatever he's doing, look you right in the eye, and say "[Blank]
[Blank] me." Can you fill in the blanks?

Type 18: Mocking Traditional Solutions (and those who promote them)

Example 1: Promoting a new business opportunity (this ad mocks the

typical "eCom bros" who promote dropshipping)

Have you ever heard of like you know drop shipping bro? It's sick. Bro, you
get to deal with suppliers, compete with half the world, build websites, run
ads, peddle Chinese knockoffs, and you don't have to take responsibility for
your income because their supplier controls everything about how much
you earn. Bro, it's awesome. No, I'm joking. All right, in all seriousness, let
me get away from this hideous thing, and I'll tell you the truth about all the
internet gurus who rent these flashy cars so they can pitch you on drop
shipping or affiliate marketing or social media agencies or whatever the hot
new business model is.

Be wildly creative with these different ad hooks. Remember, we need

maximum curiosity. We want to use punchy, casual, persuasive language.
We do NOT want to give away the fact we're selling a product. It should just
feel like we're sharing a new and exciting secret that will change our
viewer's lives. For some ads, you can lean on credibility. Talking about how
credible researchers from specific places made this discovery. For other
ads, you should hint at controversy and scandal. Whatever it takes to drive
interest and engagement. The ONLY objective is to keep people interested
enough so that they keep watching. If 100 members of target market view
this ad, 99 of them should want to continue after watching these opening
hooks.

Remember, this is a VIDEO ad. So the hooks need to be written as people

would talk. In conversational form. Any mention of quotes needs to be read
out. Use the relevant tone and language of our target market.

These ads need to be compelling enough to where they could run as the
opening teaser of the nightly news. Or as a cover headline of a tabloid
magazine.
Include recommended visuals for the ads.
