TLA2(C01)- Interview: Standing on the Shoulder of the Giants (accomplished through

interview questionnaire)

INTERVIEWEE: Evelyn Caduhada (My Mother)

1. What's the greatest invention in your generation? Why do you consider it the
greatest?

- For me I believe that the greatest invention of my generation is the internet. It

may not be very evident during those times but the internet has the greatest
impact and the greatest invention during our time. How we communicate, work,
and access information today is the effect of how our generation shaped the
internet to be.

2. What do you think this generation should develop or invent in order to progress?

- I believe what is lacking and what should be developed during our time is the
education system and technology. As someone who came from a less fortunate
family I wasn't able to finish my education due to money constraints. I think the
education at that time must be lesser in value so that many people like me can
study the way it used to be.

1. What's the greatest invention in your generation? Why do you consider it the
greatest?

- We cannot deny the fact that the greatest invention of my generation is the
smartphone. Smartphones are an essential part of life. During this time it made
our lives easier, brought people closer together and made it possible to access
information in just one click.

2. What do you think this generation should develop or invent in order to progress?

- In order to progress, I think our generation should focus on developing

renewable energy sources. The demand of energy is so high that it could easily
kill our earth plus the negative effects of fossil fuels is very evident nowadays so
it is important to find sustainable alternatives. So I believe it is time to develop
more fully the advancements in renewable energy resources, not only to preserve
our earth but also to give the next generation the healthier earth they deserve.
