Before we start
Now we will start talking about something very important: Knowing yourselfes.
First of all: were can you meet new people and make new friends
As they answer, write “Do you meet people at ______ ?“
Show them the pictures and ask were are these people. Put on the board the
question.
Ask the question to a student, then ask the class to do so with their classmates.
(30 sec, 1 to 1)

A. Greetings.
Ok, now that we know were we can meet new people, it’s time for us to learn
how to have a more consistent conversation.
Show the pictures and ask them questions.
Let’s see how Derek do it and see if he study there.
C. Conversation
Revise the text asking them to repeat. Revise how to ask others names.
Now, using the words learned, let’s talk to a friend and greet them properly.
(Example, 1 to 1, 1 minute)
Any questios? What have you learned in this section? [Ask for examples]

B. Make questions.
Since we know how to ask about frequent actions and interests, let’s take a look
at some of them.
Read, translate and ask students to repeat.
Ask about the figure on section C.
Call a student, revise the question of the name and ask a question with one of
the examples given.
Ask students to follow your example, use the questions in section C, without
forgeting to ask friend’s name.

E. Conversation
Now it’s your turn. Ask your classmate about the questions in section E. You are
going to present yourselfes and decide who’s going to ask wich question.
Student A will ask about school and speaking English, and Student B will ask if
the other one live in são paulo and if they study English. (1 to 1, 1 minute)

Now that you know what are frequent actions and how to talk about it, let’s talk
about activities, frequent and important actions.
Play the audio, pause after each sentence and ask the students to repeat it.
Let’s see if you understand what are the activities? I’ll give you 30 seconds to
read and match.
After that, ask individually for the answers and translate the sentences.
B. Conversation
Well, let’s ask <student name> what they do?
After the example, ask the students to get together with a classmate and divide
in Student A & B boxes and let them ask their partners.
Very well, my dear students, taking this last part of the class, in this class we’ve
revised the basics, learned how to greet people, how to talk about ourselfes and
