My actual interview was on 30/01/24 at spjimr college Mumbai.

1st round WAT:

Topic: should standardized testing be the primary measure of academic performance.

1st Group interview round:

2 male panelists, both of Operation. One was mechanical engineer, second was
software engineer.
3 candidates including me all 3 were there for operations and supply chain management.
Q1: Introduce yourself but we have already read your forms so tell us something which is not
there in the form.
Answer: All 3 ended up repeating their education and work experience.
Q2: Why MBA and why operations
Answer: I related it to my work experience.
Q3: The mechanical engineer panellist grilled me a lot on mechanical engineering concepts,
asked to explain what electives I took at IIT Kharagpur and why. Asked me to explain finite
element method which is in mechanical engineering.
Answer: I explained all the concepts.
Q4: Which is your dream company that comes for campus placement in spjimr for operations
and supply chain management. What job profile it offer and what salary does it offer.
Answer: I told Amazon and explained its job profile. I thought salary part was the trick
question so I said I didn't check how much it pays.

2nd group interview:

2 male professors, one from operations and one teaches spirituality.
5 candidates all for different departments.
Q1: Imagine you are on a date with a beautiful lady at Starbucks. Introduce yourself in 2
minutes.
Q2: you are in a company where your boss is sexually harassing your female colleague. Will
you leave the job? What will you do?
Answer: I answered that me resigning is not going to solve anything. I will complain in the
HR department.
Q3: you are in a team of 5, all 5 collectively submitted a report and I was pointed out my the
professor that the report had 30% plagiarism. If no one tell the name of the culprit all 5 will
get rusticated and if we tell the name only that person will be rusticated.
Will you tell the name ?
Answer: I answered that I will tell the name of that person. I will ask professor that which
part of the report had plagiarism and check who was working on that part.
One candidate answered, will not tell the name if the reason is genuine.
Q4: what can be a genuine reason for plagiarism.
Answer: I answered that I cannot think of any reason that justifies plagiarism.
Q5: Tell us who amongst you 5 performed the best and why. You can't say your own name.
I got the most votes in this question :)
