Good morning.

Good morning. Good morning. Everyone. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning.
Welcome to day 10 of the workplace power leverage sessions.
Now this is a 31 day career accelerator and the goal is pretty simple.
I want to help value driven and value driven professionals like you to be able to
win at work and in life.
Uh, you know, how I do that. I give I'm gonna give you over the course of 31 days.
I'm going to give you 9 power leverage And the goal of the the the purpose of
these 9 power leverages is that they're gonna help you accelerate your career by
giving you the opportunity to improve increase your recognition at work increase
your income capacity so you can live the kind of life that you want.
Over the last 9 days, I've already given you about 9 power leverages, and I
believe that those those 9 will 1 radically transform your life and your career.
Today, we're gonna be starting on the 4th power leverage.
the 4th power leverage is primarily your skill stock and not just your skills.
We're talking about the skills that would help you deliver superior performance.
But before we go into talking about your skill, I mean, in in time though, before
we go into talking about these particular skills.
Today is actually gonna be more of a reflection day.
And what I mean by reflection day is that, look, uh, before I start, we start
investing time and actually identifying the core skills that you need for superior
performance in the job that you're currently working at, we need to even know if
the work that you're currently working at is the right job for you.
And for us to do that, there are a couple of uh, areas that you need to focus on.
Number 1, you need to focus on being able to see how well your the current job
that you are doing how well it supports the kind of life that you want to live in
the present.
And to do that, you need to be able to consider the impact that it has 1st and
foremost on your health this the impact it has on the relationships that are very,
very much important to you.
Those are those are two key areas that you first need to look at.
How well is the current work that you're doing? How well is it supporting, uh,
your health?
How well is it currently? How well is it supporting your financial plan for the
present?
how well is it supporting the relationship that so for example, let's imagine the
current job that you are in has a way of always getting and has a way of getting
into uh, the commitments that you are making to the people that matter most to you.
In terms of you not being able to keep some of those commitments, then you need to
start to get evaluated Should this be the job that you should be in the for the
long time or long time, or should you be thinking of changing another changing to
another job?
Or for example, let's imagine because of this job, you're going to significant
stress, uh, significant ill health, significant sickness, you need to start with
considering is this the job that you want to be on the long term?
Uh, it's very much okay, simply because you want to, bridge the gap between some
of some of your financial commitments that you decide that, look, you want to stay
on this job, but you have to realize in the long term, If it is not able to support
your relationships, if it is not able to support your health and mental state, then
you need to start considering changing jobs to something else.
The other thing which you also need to consider, like I said, we started with the
present in terms of how the work supports everything that you want to do for the
present.
The second thing you also need to start considering is how the work sets you up
for the kind of feature that you want.
And in this particular point, you need to start asking yourself a question.
Number 1, does this job support your personal growth and your personal
development?
Does this job allow you to envision yourself to be the kind of person you really
want to be in the number 2, does this work support the financial dream that this
the dream life that you have that you set for yourself when we were doing the
preview, when we are doing your money power power leverage, um, your money control
power leverage, does this job actually support that kind of dream life that you
have set for yourself.
Like I said, it is very much okay if you decide that, look, you want to take this
job to be able to breach, uh, your current status, but you have to start thinking
long term because these are some of the things that give frustration in the future.
When, for example, you are in a particular job and the job is not a stepping stone
for you to keep the dream life that you're waiting and vision for yourself.
You now start finding that that frustration starts setting in.
And as for structure frustration sets in, your productivity on the job gets
impacted.
You find out that you're not able to deliver to the level that is required on the
German.
It just creates a vicious loop whereby, look, you're not satisfied with the job.
You're not delivering very well on the job.
But as we, as a result of that, uh, you're not getting advancements in the job
feeling frustration on the job and, you know, it keeps on going around and round
and run and run.
Now to help you do a lot of this heavy lifting in terms of doing your own personal
evaluation.
That's what today's workbook that's the what today's assignments on the workbook
is gonna help you do.
So today, what you're going to be doing is you're more or less going to be doing
your own personal work audit.
Now there are about 11 questions that I have there.
And for the each question, you basically have to walk to, uh, your own, uh,
person, or you have to walk to the current situation that you feel with the job.
So for the fur first question, your current job helps you to live up to your
highest values.
As you remember, one of the things which we said when we started on the value, uh,
power leverage was that, look, your value if you are living up to your highest
value, you show consistently as a brand.
And the brand that you show up as is consistent in every single time in every
single situation.
And that's one of the reasons why this question is important.
You need to ask yourself, does this work allow you to show up as the kind of
brand, the kind of person you want to be?
If you are just joining us today and you've not had the opportunity of going to
uh, the work that we did under the values power leverage.
That's between day 1 to day 3. I strongly recommend that you take time and watch
that replay.
uh, on the Facebook group, you can actually just find just go to the guides and
you find it the, uh, the values power leveraging.
The the guides have been arranged in in the way in which the power leverages
actually have been released.
So it's gonna be very easy for you to follow through.
I strongly recommend it to it because it helps to define your brand.
helps you to actually understand better when we talk about, look, your current
when we when we're asking this question, your current job helps you to live up to
your highest values.
You understand it better based in the context of the work that we've done between
day 1 and day 3.
Your work contributes to your sense of purpose and fulfillment These are questions
you need to be able to answer for yourself.
You are satisfied with your current financial situation and how your work
contributes to it.
Next question, your current work times with your financial plan.
And that's this is why I've said, uh, we it was very important that we in on
between the 7 and the 9 we had to work on your money control power because it is
through your money control power that you're able to develop a plan in terms of how
you want to create assets for yourself uh, to be able to achieve not only your
dream life, even in situations, you can start using it to dream the posterity that
you really have in the afterlife that you want to build in terms of the wippy.
You want people to think about you when you left the face of the earth.
Uh, the next question, your client work helps you to save and invest for long term
financial security.
This is your ability to actually provide for not just yourself, but for the
relationships that are very much important to You see that the way in which I
structured the question is that, uh, these questions are now grouped according to
life areas.
I basically shifting the focus of the question and mixing between the present and
the future.
And the reason is it's to keep the brain active in terms of keeping you active in
terms of you're thinking faculties as you're trying to answer the question just to
keep you active, uh, keep you thinking, keep you on, uh, keep you keep you sharp
enough to be able to really, really think deeply in terms of providing the right
answers for yourself.
Uh, you're walking the next question, you're walking past your relationships, it's
your family, friends and significant other other negatively.
Uh, next question, you can prioritize self care and maintain supportive
relationship while managing your work commitments.
Next question, you're satisfied with the opportunities for personal and
professional growth in your current world.
Your work contributes to your long time career goals and aspirations. Next
question.
You're working past negative on your overall well-being, including stress levels
and mental health.
Uh, last question, you have strategies in place to manage work related stress and
prevent burnouts.
By the time you answer by the time you answer all these questions, honestly, you
can effectively decide for yourself if the job that you currently are there's the
job that you really, really want to stay in, or you have to start thinking of
another job.
It's very, very important. Like I said, that you actually do this exercise because
is after we do this exercise.
For example, if at the end of this exercise, uh, you come to the conclusion that,
look, your your work is not actually aligned in terms of you've been able to
achieve some of the things that these questions are helping you to bring out.
Then you have to start thinking along the lines of, oh, So what sort of jobs
should I start thinking of?
And it's very important that you start doing that because the next activity that
we're going to be doing Uh, it's going to be focused along the lines of either the
work you want or the client's job you want.
So for example, let's imagine you're someone. You've gone to the assessment.
And based on the assessment, you feel that, look, the work that you currently are
in actually helps you deliver what it is that you want.
Uh, you don't feel a sense of you don't feel a sense that, look, you need to
change jobs, then beautiful.
It makes the rest of everything else a lot easier and a lot straightforward.
But if you decide by the end of your own assessment that look, you need to start
thinking, you know, another job for you to be able to achieve this.
Yes. What I would recommend is you actually do a bit of research, uh, on the job
that you want.
And the reason why I said you need to do a bit of research is that the research
that you would do would help to drive the conversations we are going to be having
for the remaining 2 days that we're going to be spending on your skills audit.
I'm sorry. Your skills power leverage. Very, very much important.
If at the end of this assignment, I'm gonna repeat it again.
If at the end of this assessment, you come to the conclusion that, look, the
current job that you're in is not the job that is gonna get you to where you want
it to go.
Then you have to start asking yourself what is the job that you need to get and do
a bit of research.
Research in terms of, uh, what are the results that are expected on that job? What
are the deliverables?
uh, what what what constitutes success, uh, in terms of your productivity on that
particular job, you need to start doing a bit of research because it is that
research that is going to be feeding into the rest of the activities that we're
going to do in the next within the net in the next 2 to 3 days.
Once again, I think we are just I want to thank everybody for joining me today.
We come to the end of our conversation today. It's very, very important.
I'm gonna leave you with this word Please try as much as possible to do today's
assignment.
Today's assignment, by exam you completed, it gives a platform for us to actually
focus on what we're going to be doing for the next for the remaining time that
we're going to have together.
I wanna wish you guys a wonderful Monday and a great new week as you go ahead to
achieve the dreams and the goals and the plans that you set for yourself.
Uh, like I said yesterday, I think based on feedback, I might probably, uh, we
might probably have a q and a session, uh, by the end of the week, uh, probably on
Saturday, but look out in your email and probably send that email once once I'm
able to get a bit of feedback in terms of, uh, what sort of time that we should be
looking at uh, as much as possible.
I want all the boys to be all engaged in it.
So, uh, ahead of it, there probably may be a couple of things that I may send out
to prepare.
ahead of doctor Kia. So thank you very much, everybody. I wanna wish you guys a
wonderful day.
Thank you very much. I appreciate, uh, you join us Thanks very much, uh, for the
