Leadership deals with change, inspiration, motivation, & influence.

The role of management is to promote stability or to enable the organization to run smoothly,
whereas the role of leadership is to promote adaptive or useful changes.

Management is more formal & scientific than leadership.

Management relies on universal skills such as planning, budgeting, organizing & controlling.

Management is an explicit set of tools & techniques, based on reasoning & testing that can be
used in a variety of situations.

However, Leadership involves having a vision of what the organization can become and
mobilizing people to accomplish it.

Leadership produces change, often to a dramatic degree, such as by; spearheading the launch of a
new product.

3.B. IT IS TRUE, Because a good leader will not disappoint his followers, he must have the
interest of his people at heart, he must be passionate, feel the pains of the followers, hear the cry
of the helpless and come for help.
