cut off- to stop provision; to prevent someone from ever receiving your money or
property (deixar de sustentar)

hire- to employ for wages (contratar)

proud- feeling pleasure and satisfaction because you or people connected with you
have done or got something good (orgulhoso/a)

spoiled- allowed to do or have anything that they want (mimado/a)

sue- to take legal action against a person (processar)
