• The selection of courses each year with your
guidance counselor is a result of teacher
recommendations, previous grades and
standardized tests.
• Levels of classes are available:
• CP (College Prep)
• Honors
• AP (Advanced Placement)
• Level of classes and grades determine your
GPA (Grade Point Average)
• Class Decile is calculated at the end of
junior year with your weighted GPA
• The weighted GPA is based on a 6.0 scale
• The unweighted GPA is based on a 4.0 scale

the winter of your sophomore year.
