ĐỊNH NGHĨA
GUIDED CLOZE là dạng bài đục lỗ văn bản, đề bài sẽ yêu cầu điền vào các chỗ trống đó
bằng từ thích hợp. Đây là một dạng bài tương tự với open cloze, nhưng có điểm khác biệt ở
chỗ rằng GUIDED CLOZE đi kèm với một số gợi ý. Sau đây là ví dụ của một bài GUIDED

CÁCH TIẾP CẬN DẠNG BÀI OPEN CLOZE


Các bài OPEN CLOZE không có giới hạn về nội dung kiến thức. Tuy nhiên, thường những câu
hỏi OPEN CLOZE được phân ra thành hai dạng chính: Dạng tập trung ở ngữ pháp và dạng
tập trung vào từ vựng.
Sau đây là một số dạng câu hỏi thường xuất hiện trong các bài tập OPEN CLOZE:
Dạng cụ thể Ví dụ

Đây là dạng câu hỏi khó nhưng cũng thường xuyên xuất hiện
trong đề thi. Để làm dạng đề này, cần phải luyện đọc nhiều và
thường xuyên để dễ dàng nhận diện được ý nghĩa của từ còn
thiếu.
Dạng từ lẻ
Ví dụ: Garbology is a branch of ethnography, a science which

Đây là dạng câu hỏi thường gặp nhất với độ khó đa dạng. Các
dạng câu hỏi này đòi hỏi sự sắc bén và cần luyện tập thường

Dạng Linking
words
Ví dụ: Allergies can occur at any time during your life, _____

Mệnh đề quan hệ là một trong những chủ điểm ngữ pháp thường
xuất hiện trong bài Open Cloze. Những từ cần điền khi gặp dạng
này là: who, when, why, which, that, how… hay một số kiến thức
Relative kết hợp với prepositions __ which → by/with/along/… which.
NGỮ clauses
