can have some disadvantages. Firstly, for-profit
partnerships can trigger citizens’ distrust towards
the government. Secondly, given the arrangements

How

For this part of the test, you will

find a sentence, a key word, and a gapped
sentence. To prepare for this part, here are
some ideas to bear in mind.

1. Practice paraphrasing. That is using other

words to express the same meaning.
2. Pay attention to verb forms. The
emphasis in this part of the test is
grammar so try to remember structures
you have studied.
3. Make sure you use no more than five
words, including the key word. Therefore,
it is a good technique to count the words
that have already been used and check
which ones are still missing.

Following this advice, you will show flexibility

and resourcefulness in your use of
the language.
