My Worst Childhood Memory
My Worst Childhood Memory
It happened years ago when I was little, but I still cannot forget it. As I remember,
it happened during a dark night. That night, my father made me buy him a pack of cigarette
at my neighbor’ s house. After hearing that, I was so annoyed, and I really didn’t want to
go as my what my father forced me because I was afraid of ghost. However, I had no choice
but to go. It was about nine o’ clock, but everything seemed very quiet. It was liked
everyone had gone to bed peacefully. Since I was nervous, I ran very fast toward the seller’s
house. While I was running without changing any directions, I saw a man standing by the
river side. Suddenly, I stopped to take a look at the man. Firstly, I thought it was the seller
whom I knew since he looked alike. I stopped for a while and tried to observer the man.
Surprisingly, I noticed that the man had no legs. He was standing with no legs. Immediately,
I thought something must have blocked my eyes, so I swept my eyes with my hands to
make sure what I had seen was wrong. I still couldn’t recognize the man, so I decided to
go inside the house. To my surprise, when I got into the man’s house, the man was there.
I told everything to him, so he quickly grabbed a flashlight to check who was standing at
the river side. We went there together, but there was nothing. I told the man that I could
not go home alone, so he brought me home. I still cannot believe what I saw that night,
