How to Create an Email Signature:

Using a template on CANVA, you will create a professional email signature. Here are
some step-by-step instructions on how to do so.

1. Go to CANVA and log in with your school email. HEBISD pays for you to have premium
Canva!
2. Search for an “email signature” template to use.
3. Make the template your own by adding your personal info. Make sure to include
everything on the checklist below (or points will be taken off).
4. Hit share and download the signature design as a PNG file.
5. Navigate to Gmail and hit the gear icon to get to your settings. Select “see all settings”
and scroll down to the “signature” section near the bottom.
6. Select “create new signature,” give the signature a nickname, and then use the insert
image button to add your new design.
7. Make sure you look under the text box where it says “for new emails use” and select the
name of your signature in the drop down menu.
8. Send Ms. Kelly an email showing off your new signature! THIS IS HOW YOU WILL
TURN THIS ASSIGNMENT IN.

SIGNATURE REQUIREMENTS:
First and Last Name (20 points)
School email (20 points)
Name and address of your school (20 points)
Grade level (10 points)
Any major leadership positions
or clubs/sports/groups/honors classes** (10 points)
A photo of you, your initials,
or the L.D. Bell Logo (20 points)
