Search for Outstanding College Instructors

To: Department Heads

All Other Concern

1. This is to inform the field about the upcoming search for outstanding college
instructors in various departments at our institution. As we continue to strive for
excellence in education, it is crucial to recognize and reward the exceptional
educators who contribute significantly to our students' academic growth and
personal development.

We will be conducting searches for outstanding instructors in the following

departments:

IT Department
Education Department
Criminology Department
Business Administration Department

2. The objectives of the said activity are the following:

1. The purpose of this search is to identify instructors who have

demonstrated a commitment to teaching, mentoring, and fostering a
positive learning environment. We aim to recognize individuals who go
above and beyond to inspire their students, contribute to departmental
initiatives, and enhance the reputation of our institution.
3. Nomination Process:

1. Department Heads are requested to solicit nominations from faculty, staff,

and students in their respective departments.
2. Nominations should include a brief explanation of why the instructor is
being nominated and any supporting documentation (e.g., teaching
evaluations, innovative teaching methods, extracurricular involvement,
etc.).
3. Each department should establish a nomination committee to review the
submissions and select their outstanding instructor.
4. Criteria for Selection:
Nominated instructors will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

1. Teaching effectiveness
2. Contribution to the department and institution

3. Innovation in pedagogy
4. Mentorship and support for students
5. Positive impact on the learning environment
5. Timeline
1. Nominations should be submitted to the department heads by
[Nomination Deadline].
2. Department committees will select their outstanding instructor by
[Selection Deadline].
3. The final recommendations should be submitted to the Awards Committee
by [Submission Deadline].
4. Winners will be announced during the Annual Faculty Awards Ceremony
on [Award Ceremony Date].

6. The participants to this activity are the Heads of Different Departments and all
other concerns.

7. Immediate dissemination and compliance with the Memorandum are desired.
