Name of Activity : Division Field Technical Assistance and Composite Team Deployment
IDENTIFYING INFORMATION:
OBJECTIVES:
A. Introduction:
In reference to the Division Memorandum No. 0063, S. 2024, this Division shall conduct its
monitoring to the identified Schools of Samar Division through Division Field Technical Assistance
Composite Team – Deployment (DFTACT) . The Daram National High School together with Buenavista
Elementary School of the District of Daram shall be visited on February 22, 2024. The Legal Officer,
Atty. Levi Oraller accompanied with Madame Ma. Ruby A. Calong are expected to provide technical
assistance and suggest solutions how to improve learner’s participation, full engagement on the
learning process, and resolve the teachers complain on some issues and concerns on managerial aspect
of the school. On the other side, the school were glad on the presence of external Stakeholders, Hon.
Samuel Amatosa whom witness such gathering and pledge to extend support as to the priority needs of
the school that could cater a better place of conducive learnings.
All inputs from this momentous event brought an enlightened torch as the faculty and staff much
more fortunate because of the technical assistance bestowed by the competent and supportive
Division Personnel and Motherly Approachable District Supervisor.
B. Activities Undertaken
1. Through Division Memorandum Nos. 0063, s.2024, the Daram National High School was selected as
one of the Schools in Daram I District that are in needs of technical assistance initiated by the Samar
Division and its District. School personnel shall be gathered at one place with the presence of its
stakeholders.
2. The School showed its preparedness. The data on key results areas such as access, quality, and
governance were compiled and updated for the showcasing on the following day.
3. The School, headed by the untiring School Principal iron-out everything. The faculty tasks were sub-
divided, the parents were called for a PINTAKASI, and the School utility helps maintain the clean and
orderly surroundings.
4. A program of the activity was crafted and prepared by the faculty in-charge.
5. The Attendance / Registration form was prepared and filled in by the participants.
6. To formally open the activity, prayer was delivered by Mrs. Desiree Samson, a Filipino Teacher III of
Daram NHS. Attorney Levi Oraller, the Division Legal Officer intends to know the purpose of coming to
School, the DFTACT for the Daram I District. After which, Madam Cynthia O. Laureta, the School Head
of Daram NHS delivered her Program and Projects status, its implementation and accomplishments. On
the other hand, Atty. Levi Oraller together with Maam Ma. Ruby A. Calong, Division Legal Officer and
the Daram I District Supervisor respectively initiated on giving insights through Focus Group Discussion.
The concerns and issues of some teachers were talked on the open forum and addressed some queries
for the benefits of all may it teachers or non-teaching personnel. The external stakeholders, the BLGU
through the presence of Brgy. Captain Samuel Amatosa expressed his pledge and support for the
improvement of the school and the development of the learners.
7. The program was commenced at around 12:30 in the afternoon.
1. The venue for the activity was unfavorable. It should accommodate all participants with a wider space.
2. The result of school literacy data presented is congruence to the nutritional status report.
3. The number of enrolments was declining based on the figure comparison for the past three years.
4. There is a decreased of the Number of Non-readers based on the concrete data presented.
5. The large number of learners in Daram National High School are getting engage more on sports.
6. Formulated interventions and remediate issues and concerns of the school.
7. The problems and complains of some teachers have been addressed through the recommendation of
the Division Legal Officer and the District Supervisor.
8. Some students were taking their lunch on the cemetery. Hence, the school intended a room for their
lunch break, to take rest and be comfortable while classes are on break.
9. Schools should initiate feeding program and supported through gulayan sa paaralan program.
10. The school was implementing an emergency plan to avoid unattended classes of teachers.
D. Facilitating Factors
1. Early and proper planning of the activity, acting the shared and individual responsibility of the assigned
tasks help the successful conduct of the activity.
2. This activity shall be conducted in line with Division Memorandum No. 0063, S.2024.
3. Active participation of assigned teachers for this activity elicits successful outcomes.
4. The technical assistance from the high-caliber DepEd personnel is an opportunity that every school in
the Department are needed most. It boosts teacher’s confidence towards attaining ultimate goal, the
quality of learners and resolved every issue that affect well performance of teachers.
5. The issues and concerns of the faculty and staff of the school will be heard and resolved.
6. Formulate beneficial program and projects that will help learners motivated and engaged more on the
learning process.
7. Received suggestions and recommendations from the Resource Persons that could help teachers be
more effective and functional.
8. Trace out problems of the schools and formulate interventions and solutions such as Nutritional Status
concerns, literacy intervention/remediation, and etc.
9. Provide technical assistance on proper utilization of the leave service credits, DepEd policies, and
School funds allocations to avoid more contribution of teachers.
E. Hindering Factors
1. Disunity of the faculty and staff of the school may contribute on the success of the school programs and
projects.
2. Because of the topographical location of school and being an Island municipality causes sometimes the
delay conduct of the activity.
3. Miscommunication of the school personnel and the School Heads might bring untoward outcomes and
minimal error of the data presentation.
4. Division of labor on every angle of the activity might lead to forgot necessary data needed for the
presentation.
5. Presence of both parties may bring hesitations on the complainant.

A continuous involvement in planning, organizing and acting individual and shared responsibility helps in
achieving the successful conduct of the activity, hence, resulted to improvement of the school, guiding in developing
innate skills and talents of the students, and in general, attaining the quality basic education which is the ultimate goal of
the DepEd. But the most important weapon towards success on the ultimate goal is being nice and considerate to
everybody. No one will work harder once your heart and mind is hurting. Someday we can witness and see the rising sun
on the side of the Daram National High School Teachers, where teachers are happy while they are executing their
pledged job.

November 03, 2023.
The Teacher-Coaches and the contestants of the different districts of cluster 3, composing of
Daram I and II, Talalora, Villareal I and II, and Zumarraga during the opening program of 34th NSM
Cluster 3 District Level at Daram NHS – Senior High dated November 03, 2023. After which, the
schools heads through the initiative of Madam Salvacion C. Planea, the District In-Charge of Daram
II Districts were convened to tackled the assignment of Judges for every category of the contest.
