KIM DOLL

1 KIM DOLL: pattern created by Zdenka Brancalion KINDABAM Crochet

2 Thank you for choosing the Kim Doll pattern. I had a lot of fun creating this
3 curvy cheeky figure and am happy that you have chosen my design to create
4 your very own finished look.

5 The height of the doll is approximately 30cm tall.

6 This is my first published pattern, so I hope that it meets up to your

7 expectations. The pattern itself is a no-sew doll starting from the head. There
8 are no separate clothes to make, just a few small trimmings in your very own
9 style, creating your unique look. I wasn’t planning to include the embroidery
10 tutorial, as the photos are not of high quality, but I decided in the end that
11 they could be helpful.

12 The actual pattern has been presented in a printer friendly version with the
13 photo tutorial referencing the rounds.

14 I have used a couple of different dolls for the photo tutorial, but the pattern is
15 the same. My next photo tutorial will be clearer, as I now have experience
16 from this publishing.

17 Materials required:

18 2.0 hook

19 8 ply cotton yarn

20 Embroidery thread

21 Stuffing & Craft wire

22 Sharp embroidery / Tapestry needle

23 You do not have permission to sell, reproduce all of or part of this pattern,
24 electronically or by any other means.

25 It took me a considerable time to create the pattern & even longer to do the
26 tutorial, so I would appreciate the pattern not being shared with others
27 especially on social group pages.

28 Enjoy your finished doll, make as many as you like and sell them for as much as
29 you can. People appreciate handmade dolls and are prepared to pay extra for
30 something unique, so good luck & happy crocheting.

31 Feel free to msg me at any time with questions, I will be happy to assist you
32 with any difficulty and your feedback will help me for future tutorials.
33 Thank You Very Much xx

ROUNDS 1 – 60 with colour changes using BLO. Also showing gold trim onto the BLO

The trims are where you get to be creative. When doing the trim for the top, start from the
back open loops with your hook pointing towards the head, sc around for the first round,
then the rest is up to you to leave or create more coverage with another round.

Bikini Version: Round 44 is where you

change back to the skin clour. Remember to
use BLO for a straight line finish. For the
bottom, there was no colour change. Ref:
round 59 using BLO. Use these open loops
to create a round of SC using each open
loop. From here you can create the length
of your choice. I used SC BLO for the trims.

Use a sharp embroidery

needle. And only go
through a few front
strands of the stitch,
glossy thread looks best

Once the colouring was

finished, I went back over
the black outline and
added extra eyelashes,
also adding black outline
to the iris. Glossy thread
works best and only use a
couple of strands at a time.
The thinner thread will
give a more detailed look

KIM DOLL

WIG CAP: The amount of

increase rows may vary, if
you use a different type of
yarn/thread, so if the cap
looks too tight, an extra
round of increases may be
needed i.e. (sc5 + inc1) x 6.
Sew the cap to the head. Cut
yarn to the desired length &
use the pull through method
with each strand or double
strands if using thinner
thread. Your hook should be
facing towards her feet for
best results.
