Download/Import/Email

the Parts List


SIS Web, Network SIS 2004B and SIS DVD 2004B Parts
Lists function the same. Saved parts lists are available only
to the user that saved the parts list. An accessible file is not
created. This preserves the parts list for the user. The
Open Parts List is used to open a saved parts list.

Download Parts List is used to create a Parts List File. The


file extension is TMP. The downloaded parts list file can
be placed on any hard drive, network shared directory or
attached to an email and sent to another person with SIS.
Import Parts List is used to open the downloaded parts list
on another computer. Refer to slides that follow for the
steps required to download and import a parts list.
Download the Parts List

The Parts List can be accessed directly from the Main Menu.
Select Parts List from the SIS Main Menu to go directly to the
Parts List window.
Download the Parts List

Select Download Parts List from within the File Menu.

Select Save to create and place the parts list file.

Folder can be the PC hard


drive, any network share
available or removable
storage device.

Select the drive/ folder to place the file (Save in). Name the
parts list file appropriately (File Name). Select Save.
Import Parts List

Select Import Parts List from the Actions menu.


Import Parts List

The current parts list will be replaced. Save the list if


needed or select Discard List to proceed with the Import
Parts List process. Select Cancel to return to the current
parts list.

Select Browse to navigate to the Downloaded Parts List.


Select Cancel to return to the current parts list.
Import Parts List

Select the Downloaded Parts List file. Select Open.

Select Import.
Import Parts List

The Parts List was successfully imported window will


appear.
Attach Parts List to an Email

The Parts List may be attached to an email and sent to another SIS user
to be imported. Detach the Parts List and then Import. The imported
parts list can be integrated the same as if it was created on the PC.
