Facilitator: Responsible for getting the group started, keeping James

it on task, and involving all members.

Recorder: Responsible for keeping a record of what happens James

in the group meetings.

Spokesperson/Reporter: Responsible for summarizing Yusuf

group decisions for the larger class.

Timekeeper: Responsible for keeping group on task and on Yusuf

time (specific to in-class activities).

Reality checker: Responsible for noting group decisions and James, Yusuf
whether they are realistic.

Devil’s advocate: Responsible for pointing out alternate James, Yusuf

viewpoints and asking tough questions.

Spy: Responsible for getting info from other groups when Yusuf
appropriate.

Prioritizer: Makes sure group focuses on most important James

issues and doesn’t get caught up in details.

Explorer/Innovator: Seeks to uncover new potential in James, Yusuf

situations and people (fellow team members but also clients)
and explore new areas of inquiry, alternative perspectives and
ideas.
Wildcard: Assumes the role of any missing member and fills N/A
in wherever needed ***may not apply to a team of two

Materials/Equipment Manager: Responsible for distributing James, Yusuf

and tracking all materials, notes, and equipment.

Technologist: Learns any new technologies required, assists James, Yusuf

other members using the technology, ensures final product is
in correct format and available for sharing.
