b. Draw and color the external and internal parts of the male reproductive system;

c. Appreciate the role of the male reproductive system in the reproduction of human life.

II. SUBJECT MATTER

Topic: The Male Reproductive System

References: Science in our World, K to 12 5 WORKTEXT

Materials: LCD Projector, Laptop, Visual Materials, Activity Sheets, Illustrations of the Male Reproductive
System & Group Materials

Process Skills: Observing, Describing, Inferring and Manipulating

Value: Appreciation, Cooperativeness

III. Learning Tasks:

A. Elicit
1. Review
Arrange the following words from the smallest unit organization (top) to the largest unit (bottom) .
B. Engage

2. Motivation
Try to find all 5 words from the letter board.
Say: These are organs found in our body.
Ask: To which body system do you think these organs belong?

Say: Now, I want you to look carefully and identify which belong to the Male Reproductive
System.
Ask: Is it the picture A or the picture B?

In this lesson, we will learn the different parts of the male human reproductive system. So I want
you to buckle up yourself to another adventure that we will discover this afternoon.

B. Explore
Let the learners watch a video about the male reproductive system.
Show an illustration of a male reproductive system.
Teacher will identify the parts.
Pupils will identify the parts.
Teacher and learner will both identify the parts.

1. Group Activity
Group the learners into five.
Let them do the following activities.
Activity 1.1: Internal or External?
Activity 1.2: Color me Please
Activity 1.3: What Part Am I?
Activity 1.4: Label Me Up
Activity 1.5: Choose What is Right
2. Check for the completeness of the materials to be used by the learners for the activity.
3. The activity sheet must be distributed at the same time, manila paper/cartolina and marking pen should
be prepared. Give other necessary instructions for doing the activity
(i.e. allotted time for the activity, the data table to be accomplished, group

questions.
3. Correct misconceptions if needed about the lesson.

D. Elaborate
a. Generalization:
