Problem The nearby community has a water fountain in the park. Recently, a severe storm kicked a lot of dirt into the water and broke

is being shipped.

Design Create a water filter that heavily reduces turbidity of the water (preferably to beneath 5 NTU) out of household materials.
Statement

Constraints The “rules” an engineer has to follow when creating their idea.

• Premade water filters and parts of these filters cannot be used.

• Coffee filters and cotton can be tested, but must not be a major part of the final
design.
• At least one unique material must be used in the final design.
