every school has rules that students must obey.

some of the things that

are forbidden in schools are bullying, smoking, talking in class, cheating
on exams. if the students do this, we first talk to them and their
parents, if that doesn't work, the student is suspended or even expelled
from school. in English-speaking schools, detention is normal and then
students stay in school a few hours longer. the rules in the past was
strict and cruel. professors were allowed to shout or to slap a student.
today, if they try, they will be dismissed or suspended. in all schools
there are dress codes, students must not wear too short skirts or shirts,
sports clothes and tank tops. in British schools, students even have to
wear uniforms. I think that students must dress culturally, but that isn’t
need for uniforms.
