Dear Participants,

On behalf of the Journal and Seminar Committee of the Department of Law, University of Calcutta, we are thrilled to
announce the results of our 2nd National Article Writing Competition, 2023. This event has been a remarkable journey, and it
brings us immense joy to celebrate the exceptional talents that have come to the forefront through this competition.

First and foremost, we would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the participants. Your efforts, dedication,
commitment, and the time you invested in your submissions have truly enriched this competition. The array of topics
covered and the depth of research demonstrated in your articles were outstanding, making the judging process extremely
challenging. It's evident that everyone has done exceptionally well, and we congratulate you on your remarkable
performance.

We are proud to declare the position holders for the 2nd NAWC 2023 as mentioned:
1. First Place: Himanshu Mishra & Md. Asif Reza [Embarking on a Global Legal Pas de Deux: India's Dynamic Dance in
the M&A Arena]
2. Second Place: Crystal Ann George & Ronsha Roys Anna [Speed of Bytes: India's ODR Imperative]
3. Third Place: Harshita Mathur [Delving into the Labyrinth of Jurisdiction in Cross-Border Mergers: A
Comprehensive Analysis]

These winners have showcased an outstanding level of skill and insight in their articles, and we applaud their achievements.
The winners shall be emailed their certificates separately and we will be updating you regarding the cash prizes soon!

To all our participants, please know that your contributions have been invaluable. Each submission was a testament to the
wealth of knowledge and the spirit of inquiry that characterizes our vibrant academic community. The judges had a very
hard time deciding on the winners, which speaks volumes about the quality of work presented by all of you.

As a token of our appreciation and recognition of your hard work, everyone will be awarded a Certificate of Participation.
