Young Peace and Development Corps University of Wah Chapter on 16th August, 2023 Presents
an online event

National Youth Outreach Program by the name of Young Peace and Development Corps (YPDC)
was launched by NDF which focuses on engaging youth in the development discourse and conflict
resolution processes as a policy tool to guarantee socioeconomic inclusiveness and a youth
responsive approach to prevention of conflicts in Pakistan. It prepares the youth for their future
roles across different sectors from where they can contribute positively. Also, it provides a platform
for societal processes (Debate/ Consensus building exercises/Religious Tolerance/Cultural
Tolerance etc.), which create more peaceful societies. YPDC also helps in removing different
biases (Cultural/ Geographic/ Historical/ Caste/ Ethnicity/ Religion/ Sect/ Color/ Class) through
inter and intra cultural interactions. Throughout 2019 YPDC chapters across Pakistan rolled out
over 60+ on-campus activities engaging more than 10,000 students using dialogue, drama and
music as tools to propagate messages of peace and tolerance. YPDC launched its chapter in
University of Wah in 2023.

 All students of educational institutes are eligible to participate.
 Participation fee Rs. 100/- PKR for each competition.
 No refund policy unless a scheduling change is made from our side.
 The event will take place via online mode.
 Time limit for speech 3 min and submit it on ypdcchapter@gmail.com.
 Time limit for national song 1 minutes and submit it on ypdcchapter@gmail.com.
 Both speech and national song will be submitted in Video/Audio recorded form.
 Last date for submission 15th august, 2023
