SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS
The power of youth is the common wealth for the entire world. The faces of young people are the faces of
our past, our present and our future. No segment in the society can match with the power, idealism,
enthusiasm and courage of the young people - Kailash Satyarthi
Dear Principal,
Warm Greetings!
With a resolute belief in the power of Young Indians as a catalyst for transformation & development,
we, at Lotus Valley, are delighted to extend an invitation to our annual festival:
: Igniting Change for a Sustainable Future
The India of the 21st Century is at the forefront of development and spearheading change in diverse
domains of human endeavour. In August 2023, history was being scripted almost simultaneously as India's
Chadrayaan became the first lunar vehicle to land on the Moon's South Pole and Indian Chess Prodigy, R
Praggnanandhaa became the youngest person ever to foray into the finals of the Chess World Cup.
As the world's eyes turn towards India, recognizing it merely as not another nation, but a substantial
portion of humanity, the potential of our young adults becomes an undeniable force. Their calibre,
ebullience and enterprising skills will be the driving factor that ignites change for a sustainable future.
Aligned with the theme of Sustainable Development Goals, Prabhavna aims to facilitate creative
engagement and transformative interactions amongst students from various schools, encompassing
diverse fields of human endeavour. This dynamic platform will cultivate critical thinking, nurture creativity,
inspire innovation, foster social awareness, and empower students to unlock their boundless potential.
Subsequently, this will engender collective action towards a sustainable future.
Please find enclosed the General guidelines, Event details & Registration links for the events. Registrations
should be completed by Wednesday, 20th September ’23.
