Contest 1: Spelling Bee Competition (Junior)

Contest Description: Participants orally spell words based on their pronunciation.

How to Participate:

Team: Two Members


Word Process: Moderator provides the word, its definition (if needed), and uses it in a
sentence.
Participant's Turn: Spelling aloud within a set time.
Rounds: Spellwell (spelling at the microphone) & Rapid Fire (10 quick questions).
Judgment Criteria:
Accuracy: Correct spelling.
Pronunciation: Clarity in spelling.
Composure: Maintaining calmness under pressure.

Contest 2: Debate Competition (Super Senior)

Contest Description: Formal argumentative discussions between two teams on a specific


motion or topic.

How to Participate:

Team Formation: Two debaters per school.


Format: Opening statements, rebuttals, and closing arguments.
Judgment Criteria:
Content: Depth of research and logical arguments.
Delivery: Clarity, persuasiveness, and confidence.
Rebuttal: Effectiveness in countering arguments.

Contest 3: Live Reporting (Senior)

How to Participate:

A 3-minute video clip without voice will be played on the screen.


Participants must sync their reporting with the original reporter's lip movements and
gestures.

Contest 4: Admad Competition (Advertisement Making) (Super Senior)

Contest Description: Creating persuasive advertisements for household objects.

How to Participate:

Team: 4 members
Time Limit: 15 minutes offstage for ad creation and 3 minutes max for presentation.
Judgment Criteria:
Creativity: Innovative presentation of the product.
Persuasion: Effectiveness in showcasing utility.
Presentation Quality: Clarity and engagement.

Contest 5: Mobile Micro Movie Contest (Super Senior)

Contest Description: Shooting short films on smartphones based on the following


progressive themes

• Global Peace
• Unity
• Universal Brotherhood
• East or West, Home is the best
• Trust- that’s everything
• Family

How to Participate:

Team Composition: 3-6 Members (including actors)


Time Limit: Maximum 7 minutes
Submission Format: MP4, 4K resolution
Judgment Criteria:
Storytelling: Narrative structure and coherence.
Theme Adherence: Alignment with the given theme.
Cinematography: Visual composition and impact.

Contest 6: Elocution Competition (Junior)

Contest Description: Participants deliver speeches or recitations on given topics or themes.

How to Participate:

Individual: Participants compete individually.


Time Limit: 3-5 minutes per speech.
Judgment Criteria:
Content: Relevance, coherence, and depth.
Delivery: Articulation, modulation, and engagement.
Impact: Effectiveness and persuasiveness.

Contest 7: Literary Costume Parade (Open to all categories)

Contest Description: Participants dress up as famous characters from English literature,


showcasing costumes and character portrayal. BGM has to be provided by the participant.

How to Participate:

Individual/Group: One student per school.


Costume Design: Creativity and resemblance to the character.
Duration: 2 minutes maximum
Judgment Criteria:
Creativity: Innovation and resemblance in costume design.
Character Portrayal: Authenticity and engagement.

Contest 8: English Choral Recitation Contest (Junior)

Contest Description: Teams perform group recitations of poetry or prose.

How to Participate:

Group Composition: 6-8 Members per Group


Performance: Synchronization and expression.
Duration: 5 minutes maximum
Any genre as long as the poem is school-appropriate and age-appropriate.

Judgment Criteria:
Coordination: Synchronization and unity within the group.
Expression: Emotion and clarity in delivery.

Contest 9: Poetry Writing Contest (Junior)

Contest Description: Participants write original poems based on given themes.

How to Participate:

Individual: Participants compete individually.


Theme Announcement: 48 hours before the competition.
Word Limit: Specified word count for submissions.
Judgment Criteria:
Creativity: Originality and emotional depth.
Adherence to Theme: Relevance to the given theme.
Poetic Quality: Artistry and literary merit.
