Philosophizing is the reflective analysis and appraisal of human beliefs and values. Engaging in
philosophy entails being aware of oneself and one’s surroundings, as well as making sense of or
understanding what is from what is not. Philosophy is systematic, methodical, and rational. Clear
thoughts, values, and beliefs result in sound decisions. Humans have an innate desire to learn and
comprehend fundamental concepts about themselves and the world. This forces us to think and ask
questions until we find the answers to the problems we’re facing. Philosophy can also be defined as
the process of reflecting on and analyzing one’s beliefs, as well as the reasons for one’s actions or
decisions. The fundamental values or some fundamental assumptions about things, people,
institutions, and others form presuppositions that influence one’s beliefs, decisions, and actions.
Through these, I can distinguish a holistic perspective from a partial point of view.
