Contract for adhering to the GEOfood Network
INTERNATIONAL

1. The use of the GEOfood brand trade- marked registered in Europe, UK, and Norway for the
Geopark and for the GEOfood partners locally selected by the Geopark.
5. Inclusion of the Geopark information in the google Map and its dissemination.
8. Involvement in the IGCP726 UNESCO awarded research project and its results.
9. Two GEOfood-IGCP webinars a year involving all members, experts, exchange of good
practices.
The personnel of GEOfood AS has the right to withdraw the license to use both the GEOfood
logo in case of misuse or breach of contract by not following the principles, rules and demands
specified in this document. If breach of contract is the case, the license can be cancelled. In
case of cancellation of the license, all the material related to GEOfood must be erased from the
company, community, or organizations promotion materials

Geopark commitments
1. The Geopark guarantee the respect of the criteria, principles, values, actions expressed in the
related CRITERIA and MANIFESTO.
2. The UNESCO Global Geopark select local GEOfood members and make agreements.
3. The operating personnel of the Geopark, the producer and/or the restaurant are responsible for
the correct use of the GEOfood criteria, taking into consideration all the existing local brands and
their combination with GEOfood brand visual identity and implementation.
4. The operating personnel of the hosting Geopark is in charge for sending update information,
pictures, and link through the agreed google form on regular base, to guarantee the right GEOfood
page and social media promotion.
5. The Geopark is also responsible for the participation on the GEOfood webinars and for
dissemination of the related information to its partners and employees.
6. One contact person is appointed and must keep the communication running with GEOfood
International, if it does change, changings must be communicated.
7. The Geopark must follow @UGGGEOfood account on FB-ISTAGRAM and promote the brand
regularly on social media, webpage, events and UGG-EGN conferences-events-magazine.
8. The Geopark should give the priority of GEOfood International when involved in initiative
projects or opportunities concerning tourism, sustainable development, agriculture, and food
consumption.

Use of the brand is regulated by the Guideline for the use of the Brand.
The logo-brand is not used to promote products or/and services that can be seen in conflict with the company
values or/and against the common comprehension of moral code or/and good taste.
