Position yourself in a safe location

As an employee or a contractor, focus on your

responsibilities to safely position yourself around vehicles
and heavy equipment.
• Keep out of areas where heavy equipment is operating,
unless instructed otherwise.
• Stay out of heavy equipment and vehicle blind spots.
• Ensure that the driver is able to see you at all times.

Position yourself in a safe location — this is one of Saudi
Aramco’s Lifesaving Rules, and intended to prevent injuries
resulting from being crushed by or caught between machinery
and fixed objects. These types of injuries are common in work
areas where heavy equipment operate.
• Implement measures to protect workers from operating
heavy equipment and vehicles, including restricting access
and installing barriers.
• Limit or eliminate work in areas where heavy equipment and
vehicles are operating.
• Confirm that signaling methods and communications are agreed
upon and understood by all workers.
• Confirm that the site is properly lit and that high-visibility
clothing is being worn.

‫•ابتعد عن املناطق التي تتواجد بها املعدات الثقيلة‪ ،‬ما لم يطلب منك‬
‫خالف ذلك‪.‬‬
‫•ابق بعي ًداعن مناطق انعدام الرؤية بالنسبة للمعدات واملركبات‪ ،‬واضمن‬
‫أن السائق قادر على رؤيتك في جميع األوقات‪.‬‬
‫•ارتد مالبس عالية الوضوح في جميع األوقات‪.‬‬
‫•ال تقف أب ًدا حتت حمل مرفوع‪.‬‬

‫•التأكد من أن جميع وسائل اإلشارات والتواصل متفق عليها ومفهومة من‬ ‫احلصول في بيئة العمل الصناعية‪ ،‬حيث تعمل املعدات الثقيلة‪.‬‬
‫قبل جميع العاملني‪.‬‬
‫•التأكد من أن موقع العمل مضاء بشكل كافي ومن ارتداء العمال مالبس‬
‫عالية الوضوح‪.‬‬
