As I was watching the movie titled “Hidden Figures” the first statement that struck
me was when the man stated that “I think we can say we are living the impossible”. Since it
is true that there are several things in this world that we can say are impossible to achieve.
But, if we dig deeper, living is already impossible, but here we are, making changes for
everything and achieving our future goals. In addition, "impossible" does not necessarily
mean that we cannot do it, because in order to attain our goals, we must first do the best we
can to make them become possible. By doing so, we are gradually making progress toward
obtaining those "impossible" things, and we can then tell ourselves that nothing is
impossible. Furthermore, there is a statement in the film that says, "It's not fair, and that is a
fact," implying that inequality exists not only in the film but also in our society. To achieve
equality in the world, we must first teach ourselves how to be fair to everyone, regardless of
race. Fairness is definitely not a simple word, which means it should be treated seriously,
especially for individuals who face discrimination everywhere they go.

There are various life lessons that I was able to absorb from watching this movie. First
and foremost, discrimination should not be normalized anywhere or to anyone. Because
discrimination can influence how people perceive themselves. They find it difficult to fight
back because they are continually surrounded by it. And if one individual can think what is
right, I believe it will make a great difference since it will reduce the amount of individuals
who will degrade the different race. Second, in the movie, even women are urged to look
down on other women merely because of their race. They act as if they are superior to them
and disregard their opinions. This, in my opinion, is not the appropriate thing to do since as
women, we should empower one another. Because our opinion is important regardless of
gender or race. Third, people will only recognize you after you have proven yourself to them.
There is nothing wrong with appreciating someone late, but it is completely unacceptable to
degrade others simply because they have not yet shown themselves. These are only some of
the things I realized after watching the movie, but it has countless lessons that we can apply
in our lives to create change in our society.

Motivation and dreams are connected since when we talk about dreams, it implies
that you have a goal to achieve. To reach your goals or desires you must first make them your
motivation to keep going. In short, you must be motivated in order to achieve your goal. And
both have an effect on reality since the process of obtaining your goal comprises many
motives that cause your expectations to come true. How much you improve your life
decisions affects reality. As reality is also determined by your actions, which may be seen in
your determination to accomplish your desired goal. Take note that you cannot have your
dream if you fail to utilize your motivation to make it a reality.
