We have different point of view in every situation. The level of acceptability in

dealing decisions in every situation. Now we are experiencing a pandemic which is caused
by the Coronavirus disease of 2019. The health is the first priority as well as safety. The
situation makes everyone conscious, when health is the topic everyone will always
meticulous and gives there full attention. The information about the pandemic is in wildfire,
fake news also being more suspicious making people afraid taking shot of vaccines. This
year’s current data show a disproportionate burden of COVID-19 infections and deaths
among racial and ethnic minority communities. With this the country is facing an economic
disruption and the future remaining unknown, a vaccine to prevent COVID-19 infection is
perhaps the best hope for ending the pandemic.
This study will determine the level of acceptability of the residents of Nogpo, Libon,
Albay towards being vaccinated by the COVID-19 vaccines. Further, it seeks to answer the
following sub problems: 1.) What is the profile of respondents in terms of: Sex; Age;
Category. 2.) What are the factors affecting the respondents in the acceptance of COVID-

vii
19 vaccination along with: Psychological; Health; Environmental; Effects of Media; Type
of Vaccine. 3.) What material may be proposed based on the findings of the study? In
conducting this study, the following assumptions were made. It was assumed that: 1.) The
level of acceptability on the COVID-19 vaccination among the residents of Barangay
Nogpo is very high. 2.) Psychological, environmental, media, and the type of vaccine being
used affect the respondent’s acceptance of COVID-19 vaccination. This study will be
conducted at Barangay Nogpo, Libon, Albay. This further looked into the resource for
determining the level of acceptability of the residents of the Barangay Nogpo in taking the
COVID-19 vaccines and to know possible approach or solution that can help. This study
covers the views and experiences of the respondents about the side effects of the COVID19
vaccines.

In pursuit of this research, the researchers applied quantitative design, specifically the
provision of consignment to the variables on this study. In the same perspectives, the
researchers chose this design to determine the level of acceptability of the residents of
Nogpo, Libon, Albay towards being vaccinated by the COVID-19 vaccines.

The findings of the study shows that most of the respondents who are willing and
answered the survey questionnaire ranges from 20-30 years old having 72.50% percentage.
And the majority of the participants in the conduct of the study are males garnering a
percentage of 75 %. In addition, the result shows that most of the resident of Barangay
Nogpo are fully vaccinated having a percentage of 60 %. The frequency count of the
respondent’s response on the factors affecting the respondents in the acceptance of COVID-
19 vaccination along with: Psychological; Environmental; Health; Effects of Media; Type of
Vaccine ranges between strongly agree – moderately agree. Also, the weighted mean
ranges between strongly agree – moderately agree, (4.0 - 5.0).

Therefore, the researchers concluded that most of the residents of Barangay Nogpo
who participated in the conduct of the study belongs to adulthood. And the majority of them
are dominated by males. There are also many categorized fully-vaccinated resident of
Barangay Nogpo. The majority of the respondents agreed to the respective questions. There
is a very high response on the factors affecting the respondents in the acceptance of COVID-
