That is when he was stationed here at Fort Hood. He then deployed again with the 1st

these two positions are two totally different jobs. He was able to accomplish them both
with the highest level of competency. During this deployment, him and his leadership

School Life And College Life Essay
An Essay on School Life and College Life
There is a great deal of difference between school life and college life. School life is a
life of restrictions and control, a life in which the student has to be accountable for his
daily work to his teachers and his guardian. But a college student, of the other hand,
enjoys much greater freedom from control and supervision; he is, to a very large extent,
the master of his own destiny. It lies with him to make it or mar it.

At school the students has to be in attendance for fixed hours every day. He has to leave
home at ten or eleven and return at four at college, however, the hours of attendance very.
Sometimes, a college student has hardly time in the morning to gulp his food; at others,
he has enough time to lounge about for a few minutes after a leisurely meal. On some
days he returns early from college; or others, it is late evening by the time he gets back
home. He has ample time at his disposal to use, abuse, or misuse.

At school the student has to prepare his daily lessons and may be taken to task for what
he has left undone. But at college he can do his lessons daily, or not ... Show more content

At school, students acquire habits of discipline and regularity. They have to practice
obedience and follow instruction. But at college students are expected to develop a
sense of responsibility and personal initiative. In other words, what a school student
has to do under com pulsing is done by the college students out of his greater sense of
responsibility. Of course it has to be admitted that college life offers greater scope to a
student to go astray. It he takes himself light heartedly, he will have to suffer. It he
allows arrears of studies to accumulate he will pay the price with failure and disgrace.
Hence a studious pupil improves more rapidly at college than at school; but a waster

Identity In Odd Places
Identity in odd places Identity is the idiosyncrasies, backgrounds, and character traits that
separate people from one another. Self discipline and mental toughness are just two of
the many characteristics I ve had to develop throughout my life success in school, sports,
and life in general rely greatly on these traits. I always hated drivingto my Grandmas but
this one trip tested my abilities greatly. From preparing for, committing, and carrying
out the road trip, I was tested every step of the journey. Getting prepared for the road trip
was almost as painful as the car ride itself. I considered preparing the car for a trip
equivalent to preparing for a ride in an electric chair. Except instead of preparing for a
quick execution, I was... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I would put in headphones and listen to music or work on homework while I still had
the energy. I would always drink at least one entire Gatorade bottle within ten minutes
of the trip but this time I was extra thirsty and had two regular sized Gatorades and a
water, and like clockwork my mom looked at me disgusted like I just ate a booger and
said, Why did you do that? You are going to have to pee 5 miles down the road! I m
not stopping for at least fifty so you ll just have to pee yourself . After that I didn t pay
attention to anything outside the car because for the first fifty to one hundred miles I
saw repetitions of old memories. The boring scenery and lack of sleep took its toll on
me after about an hour where each minute that passed by was like a punch from Mike
Tyson making my sight fade closer to darkness with each swing. I have never lasted an
entire car trip without falling asleep in the first leg of the trip in my life. Even if I had
got plenty of sleep the night before, the first leg would inevitably knock me out. One
thing that I liked, even though it is also part of the reason I fell asleep, is that during
the first hour of driving I got to see the interesting change in scenery from my suburban
town with huge houses and crystal blue lakes that sparkle as I go by. Then it slowly
faded into one office building and then another and another until a city erupted from
the ground around me and I had seen the city lights and people of all different races,
cultures, and backgrounds go by. As quickly as it started, it faded back away into the
distance behind me and the beautiful lush wooded areas that are so common in the
north unfolded around me until all I could see were giant trees around me and a road
that doesn t seem to end ahead of me. I had been really interested into the sights and I
had loved drawing when I was younger. I had a nice notebook just for drawing and I
