We are now accepting applications for the 2024 Dawson Jarock Vasculitis Fellowship in
Pediatric Nephrology and Pediatric Rheumatology at the Alberta Children's Hospital
Deadline: February 19, 2024

We are excited to announce the 2024 Dawson Jarock Vasculitis Fellowship in Pediatric
Nephrology and Pediatric Rheumatology at the Alberta Children's Hospital, University of
Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Candidates should have formal training in Pediatric Rheumatology or Pediatric Nephrology.

Application is open to all nationalities who are eligible to work in Canada. The fellowship is a
one-year clinical research fellowship. The expectation is to contribute to the care advancement
of patients with vasculitis while working along with an interdisciplinary team. Participation in
research focusing on vasculitis is a key element of the fellowship. Our center provides ample
opportunity to visit research labs and attend vasculitis clinics in both the adult and pediatric
hospitals including a combined rheumatology/nephrology clinic. The fellowship program can be
individualized according to the interest and needs of the candidate.

The position is made possible by the Dawson Jarock Research Award in Pediatric Nephrology &
Rheumatology through the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation and the Alberta Children’s
Hospital Research Institute. The Muhlenfeld/Jarock family supports this Award and have
supported the annual Calgary Vasculitis Symposium for the past 11 years.

Successful completion of the training program will be recognized with a certificate issued by the
University of Calgary, Sections of Pediatric Nephrology and Pediatric Rheumatology.
