ANSWER SHEET IN TECHNOLOGY FOR TEACHING AND LEARNING 1

NAME:
COURSE, YEAR AND SECTION: DATE OF SUBMISSION: NOVEMBER 22,2023

MODULE NO. 5
THEORIES AND PRINCIPLES IN THE USE AND
DESIGN OF TECHNOLOGY-DRIVEN LESSONS

LEARNING ACTIVITY 1

Evaluate your personal capability in relation to the TPACK Framework. Draw your TPACK state and
explain and exemplify the meaning of your model.

My TPACK model is a visual representation of the three main components of teaching and learning:
technological knowledge (TK), content knowledge (CK) and pedagogical knowledge (PK). The three
components are represented by circles, with TK being the largest, followed by CK, the medium size and PK,
smaller size. It also included the TCK, TPK and PCK, which are all equal in sizes. In the center is the smallest
circle, which represents TPACK, which is the combination of all three components.

For example, in a typical classroom setting, TK would refer to the teacher’s ability to use
technology tools to engage students in the learning process. CK would refer to the teacher’s
understanding of the content being taught, such as the subject matter and the skills students
should master. PK would refer to the teacher’s understanding of how best to teach the
content to students, such as which teaching methods to use and how to assess student
learning. Finally, TPACK would refer to the combination of all three components, which is
necessary for successful teaching and learning.
