ABSTRACT: - Artificial intelligence is the demonstration of intelligence by machines as
opposed to human and other bloody creatures. The idea of artificial intelligence exists even in the
ancient past in storytelling devices. And have been common in fiction, as in the works of Mary’s
Shelley “Frankenstein” or Karel Capek’s “R.U.R”. Study of formal reasoning start with
mathematicians and philosophers in the past and so this led the introduction to Alan Turin’s
theory of computation, this suggested that a machine, by shuffling “0’s” and “1’s”, could
simulate any imaginable act of mathematical deduction. The understanding that digital systems
can mimic any process of formal reasoning is now known as Church-Turing process. This, along
with continuous discoveries in neurobiology, information theory, and cybernetics, led
researchers to consider the possibility of building an electronic brain. The first work that is now
generally recognized as AI was McCullouch and Pitts’ 1943 formal design for Turing-complete
“artificial neurons”.
ChatGPT is an Artificial-Intelligence (AI) Chatbot developed by OpenAI launched in November
2002. The core function of ChatGPT is to mimic a human conversationalist, and its versatile. For
example, it can write and debug computer programs, compose music, fairy tales, student essays,
answer test questions(sometimes, depending on the test, above the average human test-taker);
write poetry and song lyrics; emulate a Linux system; simulate an entire chat room; play games
like tic-tac-toe; and simulate an ATM. ChatGPT training data includes MAN PAGES and
information about INTERNET PHENOMENA and programming languages, such as
BULLETING BOARD SYSTEMS AND THE PYHTON PROGRAMMING LANGUAGES
1.1 INTRODUCTION
Now intelligence is transferable since what is commonly known as human can now be mimic
through some learning procedures by what is now known as artificial intelligent being. Digital
computers or computer-controlled robot can take commonly repetitive task and do it successfully
as a result of now been endowed with intellectual processes characteristics of humans, such as
the ability to reason, discover meaning, generalize or learn from past experience. Since the
development of digital computers in the 1940s, it has been practically exhibited that computer
can be programmed to carry out very complex task -as, for example, discovering proofs for
mathematical theorems or playing chess - with great proficiency.
Who knows one day we will wake up and found out our major repetitive daily task are been done
by intelligent machines. But the imminent existence of an AI model called ChatGPT may have
proof that to be true. What is ChatGPT? ChatGPT is a natural language AI chatterbot. At its most
is like an attendant; you ask it different questions and it answers you with precise accuracy. It is
the first of its kind that was first launched as a prototyped to the public in November 2022.
1.2 PROBLEM STATEMENT
November 2022, OpenAI released ChatGPT, a new tool that can tell stories and write code. It
has the potential to take over certain roles traditionally held by humans, such as copywriting,
customer care service inquiries, writing new reports, and creating new legal documents. As AI
continue to improve, more and more current jobs will continue to get threaten by automation.
But AI present opportunities as well as creating more jobs and different kind of organizations.
But the question isn’t about whether AI will be good enough to take our more cognitive tasks,
but rather how we will adapt. Nobel prize winner Daniel Kahneman is the world’s leading expert
in human judgement and spent lifetime documenting its shortcoming. Yes, AI may have flaws,
but human reasoning is deeply flawed, too. Therefore, “AI is going to win,” Kahneman remarked
in 2021.” How people adjust is a fascinating problem”.
1.3 MOTIVATION
ChatGPT has already taken the internet by storm, reaching a total of one million users just a
couple of days after its launch.
It has been a major concern since the release of ChatGPT that some fears it atrophying human
intelligence. For example, the chatbot can write an article on any topic efficiently within
seconds, potentially eliminating the need for human writer. It can also write an entire essay
within seconds, making it easier for student to cheat or avoid learning how to read properly. This
has led to some school districts in the US to block access to it.
The New York city schools, the largest school department in the US, have blocked student
teacher access to the ChatGPT on their systems and Networks. WHY?
Because the AI chatbot is capable of generating well-composed and convincing answers to about
some numerous subjects, including writing code to solve some programming questions and
writing essays—very lengthy as the question is about something that happen before 2021.
New York city department of education informed of their decision to close their network and
systems access to education new site Chalkbeat New York due to “negative impacts to their
student learning and concerns regarding the safety and accuracy of the content”.
There are fears that the chatbot’s ability to write essays about numerous subjects could render
traditional writing assignment obsolete, removing a long economically-viable and long-
established method of testing student’s knowledge and their ability to express ideas.
1.4 AIM AND OBJECTIVES
 The exposition of the new trend of the ChatGPT Artificial intelligent software.
 The impact of the ChatGPT on many fields of study.
 Steps to benefit from chatgpt.
 Unveiling the power of chatgpt in its ability to do certain jobs such as writing code,
stories, songs better than humans.
 Chatgpt Overtaken human intelligence in certain sectors such as: healthcare, education,
employment, privacy and security, automation etc. and its ability to produce a near
perfect solutions that are ultra-accurate than humans.
 Merits and Demerits of chatgpt.
 Limitation and features of chatgpt
1.5 METHODOLOGY
ChatGPT is implemented through deep neural network architectures which consists several
layers of transformers. The transformers were designed to process sequential data, such as
natural language text, and can generate similar human-like output. To train Chatgpt, a large
corpus of text data is fed into the model, allowing it to learn patterns and relationship between
words, phrases and sentences. The training process is iterative, and the model continues to
improve as it is exposed to more data. Once trained, Chatgpt can be fine-tuned for specific
applications or tasks, such as language translation or content generation.
1.6 SUMMARIZED LITERATURE REVIEW
Several Alternatives to Chatgpt can be used for natural language processing and automated
conversion tasks. Due to Microsoft’s investment in Chatgpt, several companies like google came
forward with their AI-based chatbot designed to complement the search engine and designed
using LAMBDA language model, which is closed to ChatGPT 3.5. It works similarly to
ChatGPT, where it can generate answers on a different range of topics, and it will generate a
user-friendly response. Bard converts the Google search engine to an engaging virtual assistant.
All these chatbots have their different alternatives based on their design methods.
1.7 CONCLUSIONS
In conclusion Chatgpt is an innovation technology that revolutionized how we interact with
machines and each other. Its natural language processing capabilities enable it to generate
human-like responses to user queries, and its scalability, customizability, and efficiency make it
an ideal tool for various applications. While there are some limitations to Chatgpt, such as
potential for bias, lack of emotional intelligence, and limited knowledge base, these can be
mitigated by careful selection data training and additional programming. Overall, Chatgpt has
significantly impacted a wide range of fields, from academics to cyber security to customer
service and software development. Its potential to improves productivity, efficiency and user
satisfaction is immense, and its application are just beginning to be explored. As Chatgpt
continues to evolve and improve, we can expect to see even more impressive results in the years
to come.
