APPOINTMENT AS ADVOCATES TO PRESIDE OVER EDWARD CASE

The above subject matter refers.

We advise that we have appointed you over the case with EDWARD S PUVANASINGAM in Kitwe.

Our instructions are for your firm to engage the other Lawyers for Mr. Edward who has shown
willingness to settle matter out of COURT.

Mr. Edward was already given the total of 20hectares land in the company of Mr. Masauso Banda and
later on went for the second time with the surveyors to his farms and shown all his boundaries. Our
letter of offer clearly indicates that position that immediately he was given beacon locations and survey
of his farm he should have fenced it to secure it.

Our offer letter does not specify which area Mr. Edward was to be allocated his 20-hectare farm but it
was from anywhere within our farm with area of 290hectares farm. That was done accordingly in June
2023.

Please also note that the two 5 hectares which were given to Mr. Edward that is farm numbers
L/4678/M/C, Mufulira and L/4678/M/F, Mufulira had costs with regards survey done in December 2022
which were paid by Mr. Masauso Banda not by Mr. Edward and title processing costs were to be paid
whoever title was to get that title. By June 2023 when Mr. Edward came through all these costs were
borne by others.

So with regards the claims that we never gave Edward his farms through Mr. Masauso Banda that is not
correct at all. The first survey that was done in December 2022 Mr. Edward was not part of the people
that were allocated land, see attached letter. And the only 20hectare that was surveyed that time was for
Mr. Jabes Tonga whom we were fulfilling the Court Judgement in his favor and Mr. Masauso Banda was
allocated farms L/4678/M/D, Mufulira and those other two that were latter allocated to Mr. Edward; the
three farms in question works have reached an advanced stage for conveyancing into Mr. Edward’s name
and one into Mr. Masauso Banda as both ZRA Property Taxes were paid or are about to be paid in order
to change ownership.

All other beneficiaries on the first six surveyed land were paid for the respective individuals allocated
land.

As earlier stated you may proceed to engage the other Lawyers, as their only concerned is that Mr.
Masauso Banda must reduce on the survey and conveyancing costs and Mr. Banda shown willingness to
reduce his costs on the two 5hectares allocated to Mr. Edward.

We expect to hear on the progress made on this matter.
