    Topic: Why were you selected to become a participant in the Global UGRAD 2024

    scholarship?

    Hoang Duc Dung is eligible for the Global UGRAD 2024 scholarship. Regarding academic
    achievements, he won 90% Business-Majored Talent Scholarship in VinUniversity, gaining a
    GPA 3.72 and Dean’s List Prize for top gifted students. He won the First prize in Provincial
    English Speaking Contest, the Second prize in Provincial English Contest and Bronze medal in
    National English Olympiad. Becoming the co-founder of “Clay Flowers” organization in Quang
    Tri Handicapped Children School, he offered eco-friendly clay flowers making courses to help
    children earn a living. Being Head of Performance team, he held artistic events for fund-raising
    for Hoa Binh poor students and offered them English and instruments-playing lessons. He
    desires to join the UGRAD program to learn about the American economy, career navigation of
    the children with impairments, spread Vietnamese cuisines, tourism and people besides war
    history. When coming back, he wants to build vocational centers for the children and help poor
    people navigate career paths.
