Topic 2. Talk about free-time activities students should do.

1. Introduction:
With today modern lifestyles, I feel like work and study are the nerve-racking part
of our lives. And therefore hobbies are extremely necessary. We all need to blow
off some steam, so that you know our minds are ready to take on new challenges.
In this talk, I will focus on free-time activities students should do.
2. Body:
*First of all, in their free time, I think students play some sports such as soccer,
badminton or basketball with friends. Sports not only helps them get stronger but
also connects them with friends with similar interests.
*Besides, meeting and having relaxing time with friends on the weekend is a good
recreational activity that students should do. Hanging out with friends, they can
relieve all negative emotions by sharing their stories, making jokes and talking
about as many topics as they can think of about anything in this world. It's great
to have friends with a lot in common to share the fun with. That’s why they have
the saying “The more the merrier”.
*Not only that, in their free time, students should also relax by listening to music
and watching their favorite movies. They have studied all week at school and only
have one Sunday to rest, so they should spend this time doing what they like. I
also highly encourage students to read books in their free time to both relax and
gain new knowledge.
3. Conclusion:
In short, these are free time activities that I strongly encourage students to do
because they are simple, practical, inexpensive and also help them relax a lot.

- I would prefer to be at home in my leisure time because I feel peaceful and
relaxed when I can read books in my room or watering my flower pots in the
garden. However, hanging out with friends is a good idea, I also do it sometimes.
5. Which hobby you like to try in the future?
- Because I have a fear of heights, it may sound crazy, but I really want to try
skydiving. Because, you know, I just wanted to try something that was out of my
comfort zone.
