for jobs in other countries as English is the global business language
 Most of the learning resources such as books, modules, and even digital
references are in English

Disadvantages of using English as Medium of Instruction:

 Other lawmakers believe that fluency in the English language does not equate to
higher comprehension
 It is difficult for learners to master a concept in the content areas when they are
also having difficulty understanding the language of instruction
 DepEd already implemented the inclusion of the subject in Mother Tongue to
address mastery of foundational skills in the formative years of young learners
using the language children are most exposed to
