Ethical, legal and social issues arising from the use of technology in all areas of our lives and in
business, in particular have led to the creation of a new branch of ethics.

Provide a report containing the answers of two tasks and Include a reference, link, or citation

TASK 01 (LO 1)

Intellectual property usually relates to mind creations. Intellectual property rights related to innovation or
a completely new product from a person or an organization currently. Such innovations or brand new
products to enter the market are the property of the first person or organization to develop and release the
product. They claim ownership of the innovation. It is their right to identify themselves as legal or lawful
owners. Presenting such products in the names of others or using such products for other developments or
sale of such products without the knowledge of the first person or organization is illegal. Such claims
belong to the category of stolen intellectual property.

TASK 02 (LO 2)

The internet of things (or the IOT) is a name for the latest way that technology will impact how
we live and work. At the moment, technology that is internet enabled may be less in our lives.
There are so many countries with sophisticated technologies. In such countries, lot of devices
they use not only to have internet access, but they are also connected to each other. A research
study says that in the future there will be 26 billion connected devices. In the future there can be
a possibility of emerging technology that allows devices to ‘talk’ each other. For example, the
vehicle you travel in talk to other devices and take you on a route that has less traffic. In this way
IOT will make life more efficient and easy. On the other hand, our lives will become ruled by
machines. In addition, with so many devices connected to each other, there is a serious concern
about privacy and security.
