Important Instructions for Candidates

1. Candidates should bring the following with them for Physical Fitness Test
a. Admit card of written and physical both the tests.
b. Sports kit for AAHPER Test performance.
c. All academic documents in original with one set of photo-copy of each as the counseling process will be also completed
with the physical test.
d. All Sports participation certificates in original with one set of photo-copy of each.
e. Medical certificate in original from Govt. Medical Officer/ Registered Medical Practicener
f. Two passport size photographs
2. Help Desk: Candidates can call Dr. Akhil Malhotra (Mob. No. 9450274095), Coordinator, UET Physical Fitness Test or mail on
hd_pedu@bhu.ac.in for any issue/ query related to the Physical Fitness Test.
3. The Candidates qualified for the physical tests should check their eligibility, they will be only allowed for the Physical Test if
fulfilling the eligibility criteria given below:
a. Bachelor‟s Degree in any discipline with 50% marks and having at least participation in the Inter-College/Inter-Zonal/District/School
competition in Sports and games as recognized by the AIU/IOA/SGFI/Govt. of India. or
b. Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education with 45% marks or
c. Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with 45% marks and studied Physical Education as compulsory/elective subject or
d. Bachelors Degree with 45% marks and having participated in National or State or Inter-University competition or secured 1st, 2nd or
3rd position in Inter College/Inter-Zonal/ District/ School competition in Sports and games as recognized by the AIU/IOA/SGFI/Govt.
of India. or
e. Bachelor's Degree with participation in International competitions or secured 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in National/Inter-University
 competition in sports and games as recognized by respective federations/AIU/IOA/SGFI/Govt. of India. or
f. Graduation with 45% marks and at least three years of teaching experience (for deputed in service candidates, i.e., trained physical
education teachers/coaches)
g. No Physically challenged candidate is eligible for the admission in B.P.Ed. course
4. AGE: Not more than 25 years on 1st July 2020 (applicant should be born on or after 1st July of 1995); and
5. Candidates shortlisted for Physical Fitness Test of B.P.Ed. would be required to produce the highest sports participation certificate, if any, for
consideration of Bonus Points for sports participation (see clause 15 (xi) Duration of Test and Structure of Question Paper of B. P. Ed.).
Note:
The candidate, who is not fulfilling the above eligibility criteria will not be allowed to participate in the Physical Fitness Test.
6. Your admission to the test is strictly provisional. The mere fact that the admit card has been issued to you does not imply that your
candidature has been finally accepted by the University or that the entries made by you in your online application for test have
been accepted by BHU as true and correct. You may please note that the University will take up the verification of eligibility
conditions i.e. age, educational qualifications and category (i.e. SC/ST/OBC/Physically challenged/Sports Quota/Employee ward
etc.) with reference to original documents only at the time of counseling.
7. Please check the entries made above. Any discrepancy in the entries given above must be intimated to the UET Cell, Office of the
Controller of Examinations, BHU, Varanasi-221005, immediately.
8. THIS ADMIT CARD MUST BE RETAINED TILL ADMISSION.
