MS Powerpoint Quiz:

You are a representative of Independence Junior College about to set up a booth at Georgetown
Technical High’s annual school fair.

This will require you to develop a 7-10 slide presentation that will promote your school.

1) Find information about your school

2) You will need at least one photo on each slide. If you cant stick to the 7x 7 rule, then have fewer
bullets on the slide and continue on a new slide.

3) Title slide will have the entire name of the college, its location and your name.

4) The next slide should have some basic facts about the school such as whether or not it is a public
school, private school, etc,. How the school year is structured such as semesters, quarters,
trimesters,etc; In addition, let us know how many students enrolled at the school and if possible, the
breakdown of male and female students

5) The next slide is “How to get in”. In other words, what does a student need to be admitted to the
school.

6) Then the following slide will be the costs to attend.

7) The next two slides will discuss campus life such as sports, clubs, on campus entertainment, etc.

8) The following two slides will discuss the various majors of study and what percent of the campus is
enrolled in the different majors.

9) The final slide will wrap up the presentation with the name of the school and its logo.

10) Please list your sources at the end of the slideshow.

11) Change the background colors or use a Design template.

12) Set up transitions between the slides to go every 15 seconds. Go to Slide Show, Slide transitions,
choose any transition(not FLASH). Save the file using the schools name and yours then upload to
MOODLE. E.g. IJC_Danette Middleton
